ok well i started this thread for people like me. people who are looking for a mate that they can get along with. than may like anime as much as i do. so all you have to do is tell us a little about you. and what you are looking for in a mate.

well as for me im a 20 year old male who watchs anime almost all day. who is shy in front of new peole when met in person. But when i get to know you better i am a funny out going guy. i tend to make people laugh. i tend to get but in to the friend zone with the ladies. some people say im just to nice. i live in las Vages. ata sin city.

im am looking for a girl around the same age as me. who is out going. likes to have fun. who like to watch a lot of movies and anime. who is aggressive. and she must like dogs. lol

Though I am sure there are people out there who would gladly go with you, I know I don't swing that way.

In any case, it actually is possible to meet someone on a forum believe it or not. I met my ex on a RPG forum, and though we have since parted ways she was still a good person to be with- I just wasn't experienced enough at love to keep others from stealing her heart away.

But threads like this won't get you what you seek. You have to put some effort in on your part- get posting and get to know people. In time you might make friends on here and find someone to get close to.

Relationships take time though, and be very careful meeting people online.

I was 19 when I first met the girl that is now my ex, we had met on a gaming forum's roleplaying section and begun talking by MSN IM for several months before realizing our feelings. Our first meeting in reality was arranged to be in a somewhat populated marketplace, near the aquariums in a pet shop so that if either one of us wasn't who we said we were there would be security footage to document our first offline contact in case of a problem.

It can be done, but outright begging for someone is not going to work.

My dating advice: Chicks dig shift keys. Nothing says suave and continental like capitalizing the word at the beginning of each sentience, proper nouns, and the word "I". Just remember: you gotta keep it on the down low. Don't go ahead and start capitalizing every letter of every word; nobody likes a show off.

I would like to start this post with wow.

When it comes to meeting girls who like things that you are into my advice is to look into things that well you like.
For example, I will argue that most girls who like anime also like well Drama club, listen to one kind of rock or another (punk, emo), dress a specific way.
I don't mean to generalize but lets face it you are looking for something specific. So... GO to game stop and look at the girls that walk in. find out what they are into. Go to those things. Remember that birds of a feather flock together. get one make her into a platonic friend, scope out her friends, and then start doing your thing.

Thats just a thought.

The best way to meet girls is to go out there and just do it.

The best kind is the one who shares your favorite interest. Being an anime lover, you could possibly make a club and invite people you know. Then they will invite their friends who will invite their friends, etc. Most people meet their "mates" through a friend of a friend.

To meet aggressive and outgoing girls, you have to go to aggressive and outgoing places. You wont meet these aggressive and outgoing girls in your refrigerator when you get off your couch, because its not aggressive or outgoing. Instead of being shy, try being a bit aggressive and outgoing yourself? Why not go get a donut from Dunkin Donuts or go pick up a magazine at 10 pm at a store (Seven Eleven maybe?). OK well I don’t watch anime from the time I get up tell the time I go to sleep. Just 2-3 hour out the day. When I said almost all day I meant the time I am home. Yes I am employed. No I am not in school. Don't have that kind of $. So I cant go to Dream club or start a club. There aren't that many girls my age at my job. Between work, helping my G-mom and ant get to their DR and helping look after my sister. An I just moved to Vegas not that long ago. So I don’t know that many people yet. I don’t have a lot of $ to go spend freely trying to find people to hang out with. If I sat at game stop looking for a girl people would think I’m a stocker or a thief. I started this tread to meat new people and maybe start messaging new people rather than going to a tread and making a post or two. I don’t have the time or want to take the time to sit on this site for hours and make post after post. Did not know I was going to get killed by making this tread. Please forgive me.
