Ok for a while now I've been thinking about a story aimed at 14-15 years of age. Kind of an adventure, fantasy, supernatural thing with a possible tiny bit of romance in it provided it doesn't get to soppy or whatever.
The basic outline is people with different types of powers like some may be psychic, transforming, time traveling and maybe wings.
I'm looking for a kind of job these people could do for a living. It can be in any world or any time but I really need an idea.
I was thinking detective type stuff but I'm not sure I would be any good at that.

You could maybe see what kinds of powers each character has, and then give them a job that they're good at because of their power. Like, maybe a psychic who can read minds works at a daycare because they're good with children since they can read their minds. That's a pretty bad example, but something like that may work. Or, maybe a job where an accident can occur so the character can save the day and show their power to the reader (eg. stop falling I-beams at a construction site with psychic powers).
Try to get something that can either show the reader something about the character or something that will be involved in the plot. A random job doesn't usually work out too well.

It's difficult to come up with things without knowing what the characters are like or how they're related, but it may be good if their jobs are all connected or intertwine at one point (eg. mind reader detective investigates an accident at a construction site involving the character with super strength who somehow survives).
