Wanted to make a thread about my favorite new shows the daily show! After seeing the joke that is 24 hour news, the daily show is the only stuff to get real information. They show clips that don't always favor a certain crowd. To put it simply there not biased, well biased toward idoicy and the like. Anyway feel free to tell me what you think of the daily show, and please no trolling. We are untitiled to our opinions so don't get into needless arguments, no one ever ends up being right, and the thread suffers. Anyone enjoy, and make sure you don't buy more than 80 pounds of rice, its a food shortage dammit!

I hardly watch the Daily Show, or the Colbert Report, or any news show for that matter. But there are some funny times in the show, whenever I'm flipping the channels and just so happen to watch Comedy Central for a few minutes. I like John's George Bush imitations.

HOw can you not? Those have become such a stable for the show, I coudn't watch it without it. THe Colbert Report, well that just funny as hell. Stephen Colbert President of the I hate Rain fan club!

I like the Daily Show AND Colbert. ^^ and also Oddball Plays of the Month. xD it's usually at my friend's house that I watch them.

It is a clever show. I enjoy it if I ever catch it on the TV. But its never on the same time each week so dont really see it that often.

I can't enjoy the Daily Show because I half the time I actually understand the story being mocked and watching John Stewart taking things totally out of context is more annoying than funny for me.

The rest of the time he's making some silly face and silly faces don't amuse me for some reason.

Yeah some of the jokes are kinda stale, but I get Jon Stewart's type of humor so it works. Also his interviews are usually very good

Even though the show was produced from NBC, and to make humor out of certain news reels, I think John Stuarts citations needs to be a little like Jay Leno's or Steven Colbert..I can understand them easily on the current situations, and laugh about them [I also know that Jay Leno is being retired from show business? And he's letting Conan O' Brain to do the late-night hosting for Jay Leno I don't know how the man can do it, meaning two business propositions]. Conan O' Brian is a good show to as well. For mostly Comedy Central I watch stand-up comedy, and South Park. That's what it was really meant for it.

I do love south park, and I think Jon Stewart humor is just first a certain crowd. It's not a cult show perse but it does have a loyal fanbase, so I can see how somethings people just won't get, and as far as Conan Obrian goes, best FIGHT SEQUENCE EVER!!!!!
