why haven't they done anything for cowboy bebop's 10 anniversary?

ok seeing as this is 2008, and cowboy bebop came out in 1998, then that means this year marks it's 10th anniversary. so why aren't they doing anything for it? they could at least make a special. yes, i know they've already made a movie, manga series and yes, i know how the show ends. but why don't they at least make a tv special? why not one that shows what happens to ed, after she leaves with ein? or maybe a prequel that shows what happens when spike and vicious were still partners? i'd even accept one about when jet was still a cop. am i the only one who feels this way?

I love Bebop but IDK the series ended pretty solidly . I don't think anything new would help the series .

Now if they held some kind of event with loads of freebies :P then sure i'd be down with 10th ani party or something of the like .

hmmm its not really needed otherwise every 10 years the poor people behind bebop would have to get together and make a new OAV each time :P

Well last year they remastered the video and audio. That is pretty insane so I guess they just said here is your 10th anniversary gift one year early.

Hmm I know I'd like a back story but others will feel like it ruins the best parts of Bebop. Curse those elitist 'figure it out for yourselves' dudes! Oh aren't I one of them
