Yea... It definately depends
Most of what I watch is in subs
but... sometimes when I'm doing something
and I can't really pay attention and read
I'd go for dubs but mostly subs for me
sounds better (sometimes)

BLACK STAR *
Yes, but dubs usually change the dialoge, and the voices rarely fit the character. In some dubs (*cough*4Kids*cough*) they even change the character's names! (The horror!)
After awhile, it gets really easy to read and watch at the same time. It just takes some practice. Plus, watching subs has really helped improve my Japanese.
I think that you can only really get the full experience intended by the creators through subs.
So, yes, I'm for subs! ^^

I mostly watch subs, but there are a couple of dubs that I like.
Dubs all the way!
Currently Diggin:
Eureka Seven
Air Gear
Well, I used to watch Dubs, but then I switched to Subs when I was watching Naruto Shippuden.
And when you go back to the first episodes. You feel ashamed for listening to those voices.
I mean.. Naruto sounds like that? Good god!
But yeah, I prefer Subs now.
Because I can multi-task, watch with one eye, read with the other.
Although I look like a creepy sasquatch. :P!
Dub if it is good, like cowboy bebop or spirited away but when it's done crappy then I guess subs. But I would rather hear it in english, exspecially when it's done so well like in cowboy bebop and you feel the voices go so well with the characters.

Subs, cause' some dubs usually change the original meanings and sometimes you have to hear the jokes they say in the original language or else it wouldn't be funny.

Lol...I'm Back!FYI:Shana FTW!:3
I can't stand English voice actors, subs are the way to go

Hurray for original Japanese!!! ^-^
America can really dub some Anime crap. Apparently on one of the Ghibli movies they dubbed it and completely changed the plot of the characters and stuff. The one about the girl and how she grew up in school.
And whats more bad is that they replaced all the rude lines and quotes in "Lucky Star"!! FOOLS! They should have stuck with the original script!! Even the US subs for Lucky Star were quite different whenever swear words were supposed to be said. I should know, I have the official Japanese boxset where the subtitles were translated perfectly! So I know what rude words should be said in certain scenes.
Example. Lucky Channel 21. Shiraishi Minoru makes his return to the studio in a mess, and when Akira throws away the water that he gives her, in the US verion subs he shouts "STOP SCREWING AROUND!". Where as in the Japanese subs he says "STOP WITH THE BULL[Swear Word]".

I much have a like for subs! *thumbs up*
I mean dubs are just plain sad =/
They ruin the whole idea of anime
So up with subs and down with dubs!
i prefer Sub than Dub cause i like the japan voice rather than those american voice lol
Come to my blog @ james-gaara.blogspoot.com
To tell the truth, I hate, Dub. It's like hearin' cats tryin' to use the toilet...wha-?
Ok maybe not that much, but I really don't like dubs and I prefer to download subbed anime episodes instead or buy them.

subs (most girl dub voices are not very good) i only watch dubs when there are no subs
Definitely sub! Dubs just...don't cut it.
I agree with you jessiedew about the girl dubs. Very few American voice actors actually do a good job
Boku wa Ninja da yo!
I like both.
Subs - Correct. More details. Original seiyuu voice.
Dubs - When I'm lazy to read.
But still, I prefer subs more.
BEWARE! I'M A YAOI FAN GIRL!
I prefer reading subs. Dubs are just terrible v.v;
It doesnt apply too all animes.

When I was first introduced to anime, I had no choice but to watch the dubs -_- But as time went on, I found the Japanese versions for them and was a happy camper, so I guess I prefer subs

It depends, because sometimes dubs kind of suck.
subs becuase 1) dubs are rarely done with good voice actors 2) watching a dub'd anime w/ subs on you can see that they're different in some cases. Not by much but just enough to where I'd rather see what was meant to be originally presented
Yeah, I try to watch the original Japanese version with subs, but can only find the dubs for some reason >.> But I enjoy both of them equally pretty much, subs for listening and learning a few words in Japanese and dubs, when I don't feel like reading the subtitles =3

I like dubs, especially from ADV or Geneon.
I like voice actors, they just sound better than the originals, personally.
If each mistake being made is a new one, then progress is being made.
I like listening to the original Japanese audio so therefore I like subtitled!
I prefer dubs, just because when I have to read subtitles I usually don't see what's going on because I'm too busy reading. I would try to learn japanese, but I don't know anyone who can teach me.
I prefer to watch my anime dubbed. Although watching in Japanese is more natural, English is my first language and I enjoy anime better when I am able to just sit down and watch it and not read subtitles. I do not watch anime on the Internet too often but when I do, I watch it raw. I have studied Japanese for years now and I can speak it and understand it very well (I can also read it but my Japanese handwriting does not match this ability! ) Subtitles are, for me, annoying, distracting and are sometimes inaccurate.
This is my war face.
This is what happens to trolls who mess with me.
