Do you prefer Home-made or Oven-Cooked Meals?

I absolutely adore Home-made meals. For starters you can put absolutely anything on to it or with it, such as if you are baking a Pizza you can have whatever you wish as a topping. You are usually making it from plain natural resourses so you know what you are putting into your food. It's usually a lot healthier. Like with home-made chips, you can cook them with freshly grown potatoes, which is most likely going to end up a lot more good for you than all the fat company's and resaurants seem to put into them.
Oven-Cooked food is fine too, although I prefer it home-made. In a lot of cases oven-cooked food tastes just fine and just like any other, it can sometimes end up better because you cannot really fill it with the wrong ingredients, much like you can with home-made food. Also it is probably a lot cheaper as you are not buying lots of different ingredients, instead just one package.

To be honest, I prefer neither. I am a big fan of fast food. Taco Bell is the best. But out of the two choices given I will say that I like home-made meals better.

When i make the food myself it's good..

Depends on my mood and the situation. If I am pressed for time but in a good mood I will try to prepare something fast. If not, then it defaults to quick and effective which is anything but home made for me.

However when home at my parents place, always home made! My mother is a great cook.

Yeah, time is a big factor when cooking meals. If you have little time then you just have something quick and easy, whereas if you have fair time on your hands then you can cook something really nice and decent.

I like most homemade things. But since no one really cooks anything but seafood or sweets in my family

I like homecooked meals best, because my parents are actually chefs. I don't mean to brag, but we used to own a few restaraunts, and my parents used to make the best homecooked meals in town =0

I never really thought about this before, but between those two choices, I'd pick home-made meals mostly because my mom is a good cook. Oven-cooked meals are okay too though. If fast food was a choice, then I may have picked it instead.

I love Home-made meals! I actually cook for myself with a few recipes I came up with, so I'm used to it anyway. I just don't like those T.V Dinners. They taste weird. =/

That's the same for me, exept when I go around to my Nanny's house.

Although my Mother will often cook a Curry or Spaghetti Boulegnese. (Exuse my spelling.) Also her Boyfriend is an amazing chef, he is half French and makes some awesome home-made recipes, mostly French or Italian.

Okay, sorry to sound stupid here, but what is the difference. I mean can't a home made meal be made in the oven?

I assume you mean pre-made meals, not oven-made. Many home-cooked meals require the use of the oven, and some pre-made are actually made on the stove or in the microwave.

Anyway, I've always prefered home-cooked meals. It's the way I was raised, and my mother is an excellent cook. I haven't quite gotten the knack of making soups, though, so I still opt for canned ^_~

I prefer Home-made meals. In those pre-made meals, you don't know what effects those preservatives would cause to your body. Plus, I enjoy cooking my own food.

Well, for me it depends on the food that is being cooked. For example, I would never eat my mom's home-made Chicken Fetticinni but I love Stoffers. Then again, I would much rather eat home-made lasagna than any frozen kind out there. It really just depends. But I do prefer home-made.

I prefer homemade cooking infinitely to fastfood, the problem is I have no survival skills whatsoever. I keep books in my kitchen cupboards and often I eat one or two meals a day. My friends tell me they're expecting me to sort of shrivel up and die one day alone in my apartment.
