Deathnote movies

Hi everyone
Who here enjoyed the Deathnote movies?

I thought it was a bit wierd after watching the anime because they changed quite alot but in my view it made the movies a bit more enjoyable

I haven't really liked Japanese live action movies in the past, but they nailed the characters in these imo

that L didn't die in the live action movies.

he did but you dont see it (at the end he did say "i shall die peacefully in 23 days"

The movies were okay. They certainly made a lot of changes but I guess that's just to add thrill and suspense to the story especially for the ones who already saw the anime or read the manga. I mean it would be sorta boring to watch something when you already know what's gonna happen U_U
