Photoshop Elements 6

I'm new to making graphics and coloring stuff using my computer. I have photoshop elements 6, but I can't find some of the tools that are shown in the tutorials. can pse 6 do those things or do I have to buy another version of photoshop?

Most of us use CS2 or CS3. They have a gazzion more functions than Elements. You could give GIMP a go since it's free and it does have some fantastic features.

CS3 is very expensive but see if your education institution can get it for you [cough cough].

Thanks for the advice lol, $700 is alot, but after messing around with PSE6 I can do what I want, like coloring in my pictures and stuff, not as easy as some of the tutorials, but It's able to do it. I'll be able to save for CS3 though so if I really needs it I'll look for it.
