Not you as in her or him
Not the caress of a lover
Or the embrace of kin

I need you so seriously
Become my secret light
Show me a separate way
One different from left or right

It is you I need,
Not a stranger or a brother
Nor a sister or a mother,
Not a chest for which a face smothered

You are what I need,
For which to high above I plead
And the archways bend in woe,
As you conceived I will concede

Need is embodied
By my heart and my soul
A general strike of a match
That burns the flame
-Which makes me whole

Inside you I would swim
For a perfect heart at my whim
A powerful ocean of satisfaction
Would leave my past so dim

It is you that I need,
For every woe that I weave,
Would simply be set free
As I fall before you at my knees.

How mysterious and binding. This poem blows my mind. I read it twice. I really love it. WOW!. I am trying to figure out exactly the meaning behind it, but that is part of poetry isn't it. Superb.
