Short or tall

I'm really short, even for an asian girl -__________-'' I'm around 5 feet, and I'm basically at my expected height , and I'm not growing anymore.

I gauge people's height by looking at them and if they're taller then me, they're tall, if they're shorter then me, they're short.

I think that a transition point exists mentally in an individual. We all see things from a different perspective. I for one decide that a person is 'short' if they are below my neck, and tall is when they are ..well bigger than me, but to a certain extent. I have walked past 10 year old girls that are taller than me before although I never thought of them as 'big'. Yes they were as big as me, but only by a couple of centimeters. So me, I, would have put them under the catergorie 'average height'.

Determining if something is hot or cold is the same thing as that. Some people I know think that a certain temperature is cold, yet me and maybe some others will disagree and think that it is quite warm. We all have our own limits, so to speak. I think that people over 7-8'0 tall are big, they would obviously think I am small. I think that people whom are 4'0 are small, they would think I am big. Because I am to them. If that makes sense.

I think people who are around 5' 10"(males) or 5'6"(females) are considered neither short nor tall.

i'm fun sized, i'm about 5 feet 3 inches, if your tall, well then thats grand for you, if your short, and wish to be taller, sucks for you, no j/k, i wish i was taller >< i'm constantly made fun of for being short, but i think it's genetics (sp) cuz my great great g-ma toots was 4 foot 11 inches tall but idk i think it might just have to do with your genes and if not it could be a growing disorder.

I always end up comparing people to figure out if they're tall. I say my dad is tall, but that's compared to me, my mum and sister. But compared to other men he's average. Likewise with my friends, I'd say most of them are short because they're shorter than me, but there's one girl who everyone would class as short because everyone else in our year is taller than her.

As for actual height boundaries. I'd say a bit over 6ft for a guy and over 5ft8in for a girl?

Hmm, well, everyone of course has different standards of height and whether or not they are tall or short. The entire process of deciding this and all the possibilities make my head hurt too bad to think about . To put simply, I think that depending on the person, they look at others that are, even the slightest bit, shorter than themeselves short and taller people than themselves tall. It just depends on a personal view. The borderline from being short to tall would be the person's own height. I dont know if this is worded weirdly or not. Thats what i have to say on the matter.

Alright I'm 6 inch--I mean 6 feet.Now depending on the angle I may look shorter.Now when I extend my neck{HEH}I seem to get taller.If you see me in a room I look taller.When I'm near a basketball court I look shorter.It's also about how or where your standing.

I think sometimes depends on nationality, cuz mostly Asians are short (depends on which country). But I think 5'7', ya, would be average tall for a female, and for male, I've got no idea, cuz as I said, asians usually stay in 4, or 5s, but most males near 6.
Usually I say they're short ...when they're short o.O and tall when they're taller than me. -.- Simple as that.

I'm 5'7 and I'm like one of the tallest in my group of friends and the other person that's pretty tall in our group is the same height as me, but i'm the shorty in my family. ; ;

For women 5'5 - 5'7 would be average height, below that would be short, above that would be tall.
For men I'd say around 5'10 ish would be the average, same rules as above for tall and short.

personally, it depends on the age of the person if i call them tall of short.
if they're 13 yrs old and already 5'6" then i'd say they're tall. but if they're 20 and only 5'6" then i'd say they're short.

I'd imagine your view on what is tall and what it short would depend on how tall you yourself are. The height of the people in your family, the people you are around on a normal basis, ect, would influence your perception of the height of other people.

For women, I consider 5'4"-5'8" average heights. Anything below I would consider short, anything above I would consider tall (I am 5'7" myself).

For men, 5'8"-6'2" I'd consider average. Above, tall. Below, short.

well, my whole family's short .. i'm around 4'11 myself, and so I don't mind who's tall or who's short. I'd prefer someone not too much taller than me though, it just makes me feel like a midget. ;(

u base how tall a person is on the other ppl around them if all the other ppl r around the same height then the taller or shorter person is a diffrence.
