I see Viagra commercials on Cartoon Network.

They shouldn't be there.

Because those commercials suck.

advertisements that I cant stand:
1. Have you been in an accident... I hate it when lawyers advertise on how you can sue.
2. Medicine if your doctor didn't tell you you had this "condition" chances are you don't have it, and don't need the medication.
3. adult chat lines. enough said.
4. those meet people on line sites.
5. Any thing AOL.
6. Tampon and pad commercials... eew
7. any thing having to do with religion or god(s).
8. Feed the children. I will give money to whom I please... don't guilt trip me.
9. those I have genital herpes commercials you know the ones.
10. any thing relating to the news where they try to scare the ignorant masses into watching what ever is going on in a certain area.

I almost forgot about those two kinds of commercials. Yeah though, I can't stand those two types of commercials either, especially those herpes ones. Geez.

agreed 110% with everything you said. plus i've seen more than enough of "bob" and his "big" improvement on his golf game, which gives him a "huge" self esteem. eww. i've seen more than my fair share of "male enhancement" ads. plus i'm sick of those friggin' head on ads as well. they even have ads that make fun of their own ads. damn! you know they're greedy if they know their ad is annoying and they make a new ad that says that the old ad was annoying. and i'm sick and tired of seeing those crappy "E.D." ads one word: eeeeeeeeeewwwww!!!! for those of you who don't know what it stands for look it up cause i don't want my account to get banned. also i am friggin sick and tired of those crappy girls gone wild ads. sure they're only shown in the middle of the night but i usually am up anywhere from 5-7 and for the entire 5-o'clock hour on several channels they show nothing but infomercials for girls gone wild and i'm getting sick of it. i like girls as much as the next red blooded american male but those girls are just well i can't really say the word but you get my point.

Even though I'm a guy, It annoys me as I'm watching Comedy Central to be interrupted by "Girls Gone Wild." If it's their thing and they are having fun (or just don't have respect for themselves) - whatever. I'd just rather not see it myself.

Those weight loss commercials that claim incredible results but if you really were to buy the product would do nothing. They're not only annoying, but one heck of a lie. It's done in photoshop or other image editing program actually.

A fairly low-quality example from Deviantart, the model's real size is actually the one on the left. In a weight loss ad, she would be the "Before" pic, and is photoshopped down to that skinny thing they show as the "after" pic.

The ads that really annoy me are the pharmaceutical ones that go on and on about why you need to ask your doctor about this little pill, while not saying anything as to what it is for.

I also get really annoyed by a lot of those that are trying to sell kitchenware, since the products only rarely perform as expected and often are not as versatile as the traditional tools.

Oh, and the single type of ad that gets on my nerves the most: Screamers. I hate those ads that shout at you to go buy this now. They are a very high now-factor type advertising, but a lot of people are just plain repulsed by that tactic.

Those obnoxious Head-On (and their other products) commercials, and male enhancement commercials.

OMG I hate those too!!! all they say is "apply directly to the forehead like 20 times!!!

I also hate those Girls Gone Wild commercials...it's gotten to the point where I won't watch Comedy Central at night anymore b/c they play it twice during every commercial break. I totally agree with you Tempest.

I'm sorry, you must have mistaken someone's disturbingly catchy music video(2:01 onward is a definite contender for the music that plays when facing the Final Boss of the Japanese Internet) for the actual commercials, which aren't nearly as disturbing.

Yes I know! They are so annoying! You are watching the television because you want to see the shows, not the commercial (even if I know that they bring in money to the stations). There are so much advertising these days that I almost belive that it is commercial tv with segment shows intead of the contrary >_>
