What do you think makes an Anime Cute? ^-^

I seem to be the only one here that finds the personality makes the character. I think cute personalities make cute anime. But thats just my opinion. ^_^

Their personality is what makes them cute. A character can look cute but have an extremely irritating/annoying personality that makes them ugly.

^Yeah, most of all, it is the personality that makes an anime character cute, because without a personality, they're a blank slate, and they can get kind of annoying that way. And then, and only then, you'll only like them for their appearances and voice.

Sorry, but when it comes to cuteness, looks and voices go furthur with me. But personalilty goes a fair way too. Such as being clumsy. And also saying things like;
"If you get hit by lightning the thunder god will come and take away your tummy!"

But I am an easy-going person. So people like Miu from Ichigo Mashimaro, who has really really bad behaviour problem and likes annoying everyone, I still find cute because she looks adorable.

I must admit, sometimes I find exaggerating reactions of an anime character as something cute. And their facial expression while moving or doing an action.

So, what Kind of things do you find cute in Amime? I think its the small Girls with big Eyes and really high cute voices! ^_^ (Mainly Japanese Language).
And also Loli's with Big breasts. Ofcourse I am speaking of Mikuru from Haruhi Suzuyami's Melancholy. XD

Well just watch Ichigo Mashimaru or Azumanga Daioh to get what I mean - Even the grown-ups were cute in that. XD

i have to say that the little girls are really cute especially if they get crushes on the main characters man ^^

but as for the big boobed girls...i feel sympathy probably because i'm big too and it's not really easy to live with

Actually I just realised, that it isn't always the Small, young and Cute Girls that are Cute.

Tenma from "School Rumble" is really cute and she's 15/16. Same for Fuu from "Samurai Champloo".

I'll probably say the style of animation. Like Lucky Star, I find its style cute (although some find it irritating). I can also say the personality/ies of the characters. Like the anime Mahou Sensei Negima, so many characters, each has his/her own personality.

Small cute animals and chibis battling alongside the larger characters, but only if they are friendly. I find the girls in anime disturbing a lot of the time because even older females who are supposedly over 18 sometimes look like they are 15, which is more disturbing than adoreable.
