jRPGs and RTS are my pet favs. I enjoy most games but these are the ones I've been playing since I was way young.
RPGs Are my fav , great stories that can convey emotion as good as a tv show or movie are my thing . PLUS i'm addicted to collecting stuff :P

I don't really have a favorite.
I usually don't like playing strategy games, they are the one type I try to stick away from. Civilization, warcraft, etc. etc. Spend an hour building your kingdom and then wipe out the other kingdom. You won, now do it again but with harder odds. (the original warcraft in a paragraph). But I did just have a great idea about how I would like one.

RPG - you can put so much time into these games, you get gripped by the storyline, get involved with the characters - I always find these games are so fulfilling. I do like minigame based games, and other sorts of games, but RPG's are my favourite genre.
Hand's down it wold have to be RPG's, They rock. also simulation games, like the sims are cool
