She abandoned the altar after another five minutes of lone respect for the fallen. From there, she left the Matsuki base: she had hardly fought, but she definitely needed to think out her strategy for the next time she was in battle. Obviously, she would need to follow through. Such a mistake that she hated on her part. She had no right to complain, so she made the decision to study more carefully a person's body language. That, and to not abandon a fight she, more or less, had started.
She had been wandering the streets when she realized an old woman had recognized her and was conversing with another lady. "Oh, there she is! Oh, I missed her so...," the older one said.
The younger lady looked in Suzu's direction as she gave a little scoff. "You must be mistaken. That can't be the girl whose voice you bragged about. Why, she must either be deaf or mute: just look at her."
The elder wagged her gray, little head. "You're too young to know, missy. Never mind. I know what I'm talking about," she retorted sharply before gently pushing the girl down the street.
At last, Suzu looked up from the street and wondered dully, "Where am I?" She peered around the area with slightly glazed eyes before she noticed Enoch training himself. She gave a customary, slow blink before continuing in the direction she had--unintentionally--been headed. If he wanted someone to train with, he'd ask eventually. It wasn't her business right then.
So, she went on, simply thinking the road she was taking would be towards the Matsuki hideout.
