Marriage Yes, or No?

Do you believe in marriage? it is a simple question. And what is you reasoning behind this belief?
I personally do not, why because to be absolutely honest with you divorce scares me; seeing that I will loose almost all my stuff, and keep the crap I don't want. Then there is the fact that it is next to imposable for a father to keep custody of his children, considering the divorce rate in America, the odds are against me. And it will cost me to much seeing as I can get most of it if not all of it with out a ring.
so what do you think?

The thing I dislike is why do people get upset over lesbian/homosexual marriage? It's 2 human beings that love eachother. They should respect it.

Marriage is a chance if both u and ur partner feel strongly for each other than go for it its all chance sometime you just have to take it. An yea it is scary but you'll never know unless ya take a chance. Even though I not married but i got friends that are :P.

Honestly, i do believe in marriage. It's a license of a lifetime partnership with your choosen partner and i don't think that it's a choice, choosing a patner is the timew when you do the choosing, marriage is the one who seals the package...in my country, it's a need, a priority. Marriage counts^^

Weird that this topic came up.. ._. Of course I believe in marriage. As or myself and marriage , well, it's more like a dream for me. I can't [in reality] see myself ever finding someone that would want to deal with me until death.
Divorce; I do not believe in. I'd rather die than divorce. And so many people take advantage of divorce these day. Of course I understand situations of abuse and such, but shiz.

Marriage takes a lot of thought and commitment. You have to realize that you will be with the person until the day you die. And if you need to get out of it, Divorce (and anullments and such) become such a big legal battle, especially if children are involved.

So before you get married, you've got to think..."Am I going to stay commited to this person for the rest of my life?"

I'd rather have some random affair with some random female, she'll eventually end up pregnant and I'll be depressed and confused whether the baby is mine or not!

I think marriage is a good idea, it is essential to maintain the stability needed to raise children and provides me (the husband) with free fun and food.
Mind you, I don't approve of the current state of marriage, especially the part where the wife takes 50% of everything you and her had!!

I think that it all depends if you are ready for the responsabilty of a m. I mean once u r married you can't go fooling around w/ other people. You must truly be in love.

No I wont accept it. I'm a man of honor, no woman spends on me! I only accept money from my parents, if it is a loan then I'd accept it from a friend.
I wont live in her castle like house and wont drive her Porsche. I'll have her move to my place and live by what I can afford.
If we get a divorce, she is entitled to get monthly the minimum that sustains my kids (if she ends up with the kids) and the minimum that sustains her if she needs the money.

Marriage is NOT necessary to show your partner how much you love him/her and would like to spend your life with him/her. It's only traditional, romantic, a waste of time and money. Of course it brings you happy (hopefully) memories but there are however consequences with marriage.

In addition, you can stay faithful without marrying your partner.
