Another long one...
->While blowing, the other roam in the wind
Which doesn't seem to have a destination point,
Tomorrow when you draw near the end of your journey
No one will know that mirage.
I'm not sure if "roam" here is supposed to be a synonym of "wanderer" or what... but it's not correct either way. There's no 'seems' about not having a destination, "行く先の無い". "ゆらり" seems to have disappeared from their translation. It's obviously the journey that no one knows, not the mirage. The wind blows without a destination
Swaying, swaying, as I wander
At the end of the journey no one knows
Draw the tomorrow that is a mirage
"誰も知らない 旅路の果てに"
->The heat waves stick to that walking body
Who is walking through the desert's concrete.
No matter how tired you are and how heavy your steps,
The footprints don't seem to appear.
コンクリートの砂漠 would be at the very least "concrete's desert" not "desert's concrete". "Desert of concrete" is of course more correct. "刺す" would be a pricking sensation, not "sticking". 疲れた is in the second line, not the third, don't know why they thought to move it. "残らない" means "to not be left behind" not "to not appear" "乾いた" seemed to disappear from their translation.Walking through a desert of concrete
My body is tired from the sting of the hot air
No matter how strongly I step
No dry footprints are left behind
->The young dream is coming while it stays in the trash
Waiting for a new journey.
"幼き頃の夢" childhood dreams, not young dreams. "旅立ちの瞬間を待っている" the original translator missed the "moment" and the "setting off" and got "new" from out of a hat somewhere. My dreams from childhood are still buried in rubble
Waiting for the moment to set off on their journey
->If you and the others fell,
You would've fell in the rain.
To be strong would be like the light spilling when the clouds are in the
sky,
Ever so smiling back at you.
I don't know where "the others" came from... "ゆらり" maybe? The rain is falling, not the mystery people, "厚く重たい" is in reference to the clouds. ..."Ever so smiling back at you"?It's okay to get wet
By the swaying, swaying, unkind rain falling
A light will faintly flow
From behind the thick clouds, smiling at you
->When it releases to it's full extent,
It leaves what you see on that oak.
I honestly have no idea how they got what they got for these two lines.I wonder how long we've been apart?
Lately I've had a longing to see you
"もうどれくらい離れたのだろう" seems pretty straightforward, 振り放け見る程に懐かしく is a bit trickier, but I'd like to think it resembles my translation just a bit more closely.
->The existing proof isn't found yet.
Keep searching, maybe those things you already knew will be helpful.
探しても is "if you search for it", there's no "yet" about "見つからない".If you try search for an existing proof, you'll never find it
I know that you must establish things for yourself
->While blowing, the other roam in the wind
Which doesn't seem to have a destination point,
Tomorrow when you draw near the end of your journey
No one will know that mirage.
This looks to be about the same as above, but there's a のように at the end in the original lyrics. The original translator missed it, or ignored it, but I changed it here to reflect the change in the original Japanese, from a metaphor to a simile. The wind blows without a destination
Swaying, swaying, as I wander
At the end of the journey no one knows
Draw the tomorrow that's like a mirage
So the whole thing...
The wind blows without a destination
Swaying, swaying, as I wander
At the end of the journey no one knows
Draw the tomorrow that is a mirage
Walking through a desert of concrete
My body is tired from the sting of the hot air
No matter how strongly I step
No dry footprints are left behind
My dreams from childhood are still buried in rubble
Waiting for the moment to set off on their journey
It's okay to get wet
In the swaying, swaying, unkind rain falling
A light will faintly flow
From behind the thick clouds, smiling at you
I wonder how long we've been apart?
Lately I've had a longing to see you
If you try search for an existing proof, you'll never find it
I know that you must establish things for yourself
The wind blows without a destination
Swaying, swaying, as I wander
At the end of the journey no one knows
Draw the tomorrow that's like a mirage
The wind blows without a destination
Swaying, swaying, as I wander
At the end of the journey no one knows
Draw the tomorrow that's like a mirage
It's okay to get wet
By the swaying, swaying, unkind rain
A light will faintly flow
From behind the thick clouds, smiling at you
