New sig, it turned out okay. I had to scrap it halfway through and start over - I put too many effects on it, though I think it still has a little too much bright color. C&C! ^^

SOTW 28 entry for Maru - I thought she would like the high fashion feel. Plus a new learning technique for me - more vectory and pen-tooling than normal. ^.^

I really like your time signature! I have to agree with all of Maru's comments on it. As for your sotw entry, loves it. It's very balanced and has a unified theme, which I like. I like how you mirrored it on the bottom as well, that's a nice touch. Really nice work, as usual =D

Okay, SOTW 30 entry. I had a lot of fun making this one. It needed a lot more though (effect-wise). Plus it was a little too glowy on the right I think. But it was fun playing with sparkles!! ;p
Lolz, and yes, the trackball is a little earth. ^.^

Heh - thanks everyone. Winter break for sigs is somewhat over, and here are two more. One was SOTW which was a phail, though I somewhat liked the contrast, though it was a bit too much, and the second one is of Simon Baker. It's okay - not completely the result I was going for, but I like the colors. ^^

Regarding the Imminent Death sig, lots of negative space, don't you think? The right side especially. It's very empty.
And the Simon Baker one is SO you! You use that red-blue-yellow gradient map a lot, don't you?? I adore that style of yours ^^

@Karuto: Yeah, that gradiant looks really nice most of the time. Thanks! Hmm, as for the Imminent Death sig, I thought the left side had more negative space than the right for some reason...maybe I need more on both sides...

New work in progress - I don't really care for the angle of the balloon and some of lighting coming from some of the sides...ideas welcome!

Very interesting piece right there.
I really don't know what to really suggest except these two things.
Try clipping masks, fun way to create a "vector" styled finish.
Also, your normal coloration of those kind of signatures (purple to violet) is somewhat overused.
Mess around with the colors and see what you get.
It would be interesting to see what you can make out of that.

I love it. Thank you so much, Mira. Its so bright and the colors look so happy and awesome. The siggy flows really nicely and the awesome effects really compliment the girl. The text is so very cute as well. So awesome, Mira.

Thanks -- major brain freeze on the balloon sig, so here's another sig in the meantime. Two versions - one more vertical sig-type, and the other the fuller version with an odder size. I like how the colors turned out, though I was hoping for more detail in the background. I also gotta work on the text visibility... :/

mmmm nice colors.
The text:
On the smaller one, what if you moved the text over to the right side of her skirt/dress?
And on the odder one you could move the text a little more down.
So that the text in both does`t go over a that bright white dot you have behind there now.
What if you just move the text in the smaller one a little bit more down? Then the white dot will be just above the M

@Yuuki - yes, my sigs can be a bit empty - something I need to continue to work on.

Here's a new one - working with some new style types and such. I think I may need more contrast - it may be too light, but I love the colors! Anyways, C&C!

Humm, so yeah, bumping my own thread - only because I'm excited to show my new sig!! ^.^

First here's my SOTW - just goes to show how much I know about Japanese vs. Chinese dress...(nothing o.o) but anyways, the text was interesting on this one I thought..., even though I shouldn't have won... o.o




And here's a new sig - 3 of the same type with different styles on the left to deal with my negative space problem. C&C!

Your new sig is SO hot. Its an incredibly creative idea and I love how you did it. My favorite of the 3 is the first version and I think the clipping mask looks really cool coming off of the buildings. The ziggy pentool + the C4D add a really nice effect to the whole signature. I'm completely wow-ed by it. Really good job, Mira.
