Have you ever striked at school. My school has and we kept on singing "We are not going to class" and then "We want an hour off" Have you striked or have you seen a strike?

No we got what we wanted. Only 30 minutes away from class and the periods were shorter.

Cool make sure you sings songs about not going to class. Also try striking for less money you have to spend on food. that might work to. Though it was our first time to strike and it was alot of fun and it was before the interskools.

No, But my younger brothers school did once, and funny enough it was not 'just' the students. It was the parents and variety of the teachers too. XDD

The school is closing down soon to be demolished and all the parents and some teachers were pretty ticked off about it. It was pretty funny to hear that when I got home from College seems as the school is just next to our house.

Mum: "Terry I'm just going out for a bit okay.?"
Me: "Okay!, where are you going then.?"
Mum: "I'm just going to go on a strike at the School with other parents, I won't be that long."
Me: "........0_0!"

When I was a kid I went to a strike with my parents. It was huge. Hundreds pf people marched like 10 blocks shouting out things. I don't remember the cause though. LOL

At my old school, some students went on strike because the dress code was too strict. I think they got their demands patially met but they still complain about it >.> Some of our teachers in my high school went on strike a while back too, for higher wages.
As for me, my school is really boring, stuffy, and is very anti-rebellious. Instead of going on strike, we petitioned =/ As a result, school now starts at 9:30 on Wednesdays though ^.^

If you go to school in brooklyn, then I could see a student strike actually doing something. City schools are violent, people are afraid of the kids.

In my carpentry class, we've striked not to work that day, and some of us took the strike sooo seriously, that a few of us got arrested and others got sent to SPO.

It used to start at 7:30, as it does on every other day. Just Wednesdays start two hours later, the rest of the week is still the same =/

I wish. I mean, students always out number teacher and faculty and such so it would easily work if everyone could get organized, heck, we could completely take over the school. But unfortunately there's always been more tards than.. well, non-tards. 0_o

I only know the cleaners and the woman who worked in the kitchen striked in my old school.

We had to bring our own food to school... that sucked. But it only lasted for 2 days anyway.
