The stronger!
I'm sure we've all (or most) have played the Halo and Metroid games, but really, who's the stronger? During the rumors of Master Chief being a woman I saw a vid on youtube.com that had Master Chief vs. Samus Aran. It was cool!
On my own opinion, I think Master Chief (male) would beat both the female and Samus.

I don't like Halo series nor Metroid.
Both are childish shooters, but if I had to choose which is stronger, I'd say Samus.

That video you saw was I BELIEVE supposed to be the female Spartan from DOA4. I believe Master Chief is better than she is, and so by default is better than Samus who was tied with the female Spartan.

I'll give you Halo,as it can be since xbox live... But kindly shut the hell up with Metroid, as Metroid isn't even an FPS title at heart. Only the Metroid Prime series are FPS titles, the rest are side scrollers.Originally Posted by Chaos Proxy

The FPS combat is only part of the games Focus. A good portion of it is puzzle solving, backtracking, and exploring.
Play the series before you trash it.
The video you saw greatly glorifies a Spartan II's capabilities. The Mjolnir armor is nowhere NEAR that advanced. Samus, with all of her upgrades from any one game, is more than enough to mutilate Master Chief. She's the greatest bounty hunter in the galaxy for a reason.

Redfield: While I agree that the video misrepresents the Mark V armor's functionality, I don't know if it's that cut-and-dry.
The thing is meant to basically make you a walking tank. It gives you a ton of strength and you can move quite fast.
The thing, though, is in the weapon types. Energy weapons mess with shields, but beyond that it would take something more physical to deal damage.
Samus's rockets are, frankly, too slow to catch a Spartan, let alone MC in VI, and nothing else can do any damage.

Truthfully, Samus would destroy Master Chief unless HE had allies with HIM.

You've obviously never been hit by
-An Energy Sword.
-A Spartan Laser.
-A Banshee.
-A Plasma Pistol.
-A Plasma Rifle.
-A Needler.
-A Ghost.
Since those are...You know...Energy. And I don't know about you, but I've been killed by all of those on at least a few occasions.
And although masterchief can just...Deflect a rocket with his bear hands, which he's done before, that doesn't change the fact that samus has weapons that can
-Freeze him solid.
-Burn, possibly melt him.
-blow away his shield completly, and probably most of his armor.
-Go into some crazy mode where she sees everything in white hot and fires 100 bolts of raw phazon into something.
-Call an air strike from her dropship (Of course nintendo doesn't really let YOU do this, as it'd be broken and the games would beyond easy)
Samus has the superior tech, and with her armors retardedly broken chozo scanners that know everything about anything it scans for 3 seconds, it's hard for her not to find a weakness in something.
MC is a walking tank, true.
But Samus is almost a walking army with all of her suit upgrades.
Redfield: First, the game actually underrepresents the suit for the sake of game balance. In canon, it can take a whole crapload more damage from plasma weapons.
Second, as for temperatures I'd need to know how low and high the temperatures are, because Mjolnir armor can survive extreme temperatures. I mean really, it survived re-entry without a scratch. I don't know how phazon would affect it, though, but if Samus gets her ship then MC gets the full aerial support of Earth's military.
No one took my suggestion seriously.
Master Chief: Duke uses a Holoduke, and a well placed laser trip bomb to take out MC's shield. Then Shrink Ray. Then foot.
Samus: Three words: "Shake it, Baby." No women can resist. Then, pistol to Zero Samus' face.

Duke Nukem wouldn't even make it to the fight. The fight would be over, both combatants would be long dead, and then someone would show up to the abandoned battleground with a picture of Duke and swear he's on his way.
I'm talking about "Duke Nukem 3D" Duke Nukem. Not any Duke Nukem's that people have claimed to have seen after tripping on some bad mushrooms.
