Quick question,mostly for the girls,though anyones welcome...

Ok so basicly I got this proposal idea and want to hear some thoughs on it. Before anyone asks no i'm not gettin married and I unfortunatly don't even have a gf...it just poped into my head a little bit ago...so here goes...oh and this is just what the guy says nothin else to it...

I love this place. It means a lot to me. My favorite place in the entire world. It holds many fond memories for me. We've spent many hot summer days just laying here in the shade beneath this tree. Watching the sun set and the sun rise. This is where we shared our first kiss. This is where we first fell into the throughs of passion. This where I told you I love you. And this is where,(pulls ring out) beneath this very tree, I am hoping you will agree to marry me. You see, though I know we've been together only a short while, I know far beyond any doubt that I want to spend the rest of my life with you...

Well thats it...so what do you all think?...to mushy emotional?...i'd have thought it was quite clear that it was a proposal but i added the ring thing...and the thought was more for a movie or something...and if i personaly were to ever say anythig like that i wouldn't discuss it with my friends...

Obviously off topic...but i'm new to forums and stuff so I have no idea what a blog is...and maybe just me but it seems to fit fairly well under misc. if you ask me...also I have no idea why it poped into my head it just did...

Is this meant to be a proposal? I think it beckons too many questions. She won't know if you are proposing or just talking.

If you are proposing you are best to just do it the old fashioned way, at least than she will know for sure what you meant.

Oh and don't propose unless you are at least dating the girl.
