Mistaken Identity!

Ever been mistaken for someone else? Or have you mistaken someone for someone else? I have, and it's embarrassing! I mistook this guy in my school for being my friend Lucas! In the back, he looked just like him, until I found out he wasn't.

Well...yeah. But it was no big deal. I was visiting a college and was sitting somewhere against the wall. A girl walked past me then backed up to look at me. She said I looked like one of her friends...

Things like these are common. I mistook someone as my friend. It was pretty embarassing, considering that I have a perfect vision and I should be able to see and know clearly if she was my friend or not.

Yeah, both happened to me. Ususally being mistaken for someone else isn't embarrassing but mistaking mistaken someone for someone else is totally embarrassing. I have this asain friend in my college and seriously there is a total another look like that goes to my college too. I just went up and i was like hey what's up and she totally looked at me weird saying do i know you. I was like wait are you...she's like no but this is the second time someone misstook me for that person. The other person turned out to be one of my firend, lol.

well last summer i went to the animal planet covention. it was outside and very hot. once i got tired of walking around. so i went under a booth to get some shade. i also had my chihuahuas two of which were little puppies. and peolpe started coming up to me asking to hold the chihauhuas i did then there was a line and pepole started takeing pictures and asking for my autograph. i couldnt under stand why until they started asking what show i was on. then i looked up and i was standing in the animal planet stars booth. i was flattered and just went with it.

I was mistakened for some girl thats supposed to be on some show.I didn't ask but this boy in my gym class asked if I had ever been on tv before,of course I said no but he said I looked like some girl that was on some show he watched.I dunno?

Anyway another was I mistaked someone for my friend Justice at the mall.It was embarrassing.

Couple years ago, like grade 9, everytime I sat at my locker someone would walk by (us being the only ones in the hallway) and she would say I looked like Jack Osbourne before seeing my face. That was when my hair was long and curly-ish and before Jack lost all that weight. That happened to me like, 4 times that year.


When I was roughly 7 or 8 I was always asked if I was "Harry's Brother" I knew who Harry was but didn't even know he had a brother o.O Apparently I looked alot like him even though he was 4 years older at the time. Come to think of it, I didn't like that guy much.

I was mistaken for a guy named Sam once, these people swore I played Basketball with them over the weekend. The strange thing was he had the same last name as me.

When I was 6 people kept saying i looked liek Raven Simone(I think thats hwo you spell her last name)
Then when sometime last year at school some girl told me I looked like her.Are these people blind?I'm flattered and all by it but uhhhhhh I just don't see it.

Hmm..I've been mistaken for a little kid. Does that count? Last spring, I was minding my own business and weeding outside in my front garden and I was happy as a clam, just humming a merry old tune. Suddenly out of nowhere, comes this big booming voice from my next door neighbor Shelly, who yells at me, "HEY LITTLE KID! GET OUT OF MY FRIENDS GARDEN!" I paused very briefly and turned around and stood up and said to her, "who the hell are you calling LITTLE KID?? And it's MY garden dammit!" (Just to let you know, she's been my neighbor for the past 3 years)...I know I'm short and skinny and may LOOK like a kid from a squatting position from the back..but come on, give me a break!

I've mistaken someone for someone else before. It actualy happened a few times before. I saw this chick in the bathroom in some restataunt and I thought she was a friend of mine. I was about to say hi when I realised it wasn't her. I caught her attention before I could say anything and she gave that look like, "What...?"

Yeah, people really need to take a closer look before they confuse you for another person.

Mistress Rukiyo, I get the same thing from people that look at me as if I'm a cute little kid, thanks to my face and eyes(I have quite big eyes for an Asian). I prefer to be considered an adult, plus I'm turning 17 in March! My height and voice are definitely up there in the adult range, but definitely not my physical appearances.

I've been mistaken for a Vietnamese person and they talked to me in vietnamese, when I'm actually Pinoy(Filipino)/Chinese(a lil bit). I was just speechless.

Actually, i turned that into a fun game, where when im with friends, i walk up to random ppl and act like i think they r someone else xD it be ppl that look like they need a good laugh! i remember i hugged this guy (who was kinda cute now that i think back) and said "BUBBA! It happens almost everytime I leave the house. People will walk up to me and begin talking as if we've known each other for years, eventually when they shut up though they realize they've been mistaken. :\ I just have one of those common faces, you know?I'm really good with faces so I've never been on the other end.

I'm also mistaken for my room mate often. We're the same height, body type, hair, eye color, etc.

Comes in handy sometimes.

Yeah, I do have much to learn, I don't get out much, and I don't know much about anything. That's funny, and my last name is Lau. People always assume that I'm Japanese and I lol, and I ask them to keep guessing, and they never say Chinese! I'm saying to myelf, "For crying out loud! Stop guessing, and stop repeating yourself! Mention the word Chinese already!" I mean it's always, "Lemme guess, your Japanese? No? Vietnamese? Korean? Mongolian?" -_-;
