Gundam SEED Cosplay
I want to cosplay as the justice form SEED at waicon 2009, but i have no idea on how to build the suit, so any advice on construction would be much Appreciated.
Seriously? Unless you know how to make costume armor out of PVC and foam and junk and have practiced it a bit, there is no way to make it turn out decent.
The only Gundam outfit I ever saw on a person that wasn't total fail or made of various materials and practice was a kid with a cardboard crown piece and the words "I'm a Gundam" written on his shirt in marker.

It's in engrish, but it's intelligible enough. However, like Sanosuke said you need skills or your gundam will be made of fail. One does not simply paper mache into Mordor.

well i would like to spend as little as possible, but my budget would be in the range form $200 to $300 , aslo my fabricating skills are poor. i didnt intend to fabricate it myself
I don't mean to stomp all over your aspirations, but there is no way you will be able to get the materials and someone willing to do that for 300 bucks. Maybe another zero. Even if you told them you'd spread their name around, I doubt 300 would cut it.Originally Posted by Pent

Try something simpler and cheaper.
the labor really is what will get you, if you could build it yourself you would save a lot of money. but gundams are smooth, that is good makes it cheaper, and rectangular. I would go with foam. and a thick latex paint. the foam will cost you. It will take me a day to even come up with an idea on materials cheaper than foam. who will make it for you?
