Read Translucent.. Brilliant touching manga, but it's girls and guys sort of Manga, lot of references to Gundam and mecha shows, but very subtle oness.

Have also read the new Appleseed Hypernotes and Appleseed Illustrations and Data, both informational and colourful books expanding the word of Masamune Shirow's world in Appleseed.
