Not bad, but having your pupils search a pre-photoshopped background image won't ever teach them how to completely make their own background.
Yup yup, but that's why this is more of a beginning tutorial. They can move into more complex backgrounds once they know how to effectively apply overlay and other effects.

Well, the image was used more as a texture instead of a bg, which is something I do often [<333 tectures]
This is a really cute tutorial, and the end result is adorable. The only thing I wouldve added was a border, but it looks just as nice without one

This definitely is a good tutorial.
I never thought that such little manipulation and actual Photoshop procedures would be needed to get that effect.

It's a nice outcome Mira, clean and simple which gets to the point. It really does put good use of things that people who want to get better at Photoshop. Keep up the sweet tuts!
