Most Idiotic Bad Rep You Ever Recieved

Rarely have I received a bad rep for a reasonable reason. One of my recent ones was from a post where I said I liked Adam Levine. The person didn't leave a message or a name. Jerk.

I got bad rep for jokingly dubbing Sanosuke the Valentine's Day Scrooge. Apparently my comment was unrelated to the thread, as it has to do more with Christmas. At least it was a silly bad rep and not a malicious one.

The most idiotic bad reps I recieve are the ones with no comments, or the ones that simply don't like me, because i'm me. I admit that I said some things that were bad, and broke the rules a few times, but that was when I was a total newbie. Now, I'm following the rules, and encourage others to do so also, but I get bad repped for it. I also get bad repped(like everyone else said) for just stating my opinions in a fair and kind manner. I've done nothing to no one, never bad repped anyone, never started any flame wars, I just simply post and be nice. I don't understand why people bad rep you for just being yourself, while still following rules. And some things that happen, I can't control, nor is it my fault.

I have only had one bad rep ( I only have so many rep points ) and it was really stupid!

This happened a while ago. It was on a thread called "English is a strange language" where someone posted a poem (of sorts) describing the irregularities of the English language (ie foot becomes feet but boot does not become beet). I said that English was, indeed, a very confusing language. I then compared the Japanese language to English, saying that it be easy, yet hard because of the fact that Japanese words do not change to reflect whether thay are singular or plural (ie "neko" means "cat" but can also mean "cats" depending on context). Then, I get a bad rep from somebody saying, "demerit for the asianophile" !

I did not understand why I got this. I can speak Japanese, so I obviously know the basic difference between the two languages. Some people are just wierd.

Hehe, the ones for simply doing my moderating job are funniest. One in particular was given because I'd moderated her comments after she'd blatantly broken the rules. I gave her negative rep after she reposted what I had removed simply to "win" over me.

So I got negative rep in return. Something to the effect of, "You're mean/too strict!" Haha. Too much.

Someone bad repped me for sending my condelences in the Legend S' Death thread. It simply said " >> *removes name*" What was so idiotic about it was that that person bad repped me because he/she thought I bad repped him/her first (when I didn't) and that person who bad repped the other didn't leave a name. So then he/she assumed it was me. Besides, I leave my name when I good and bad rep (unless I accidently forget, which doesn't happen often). And come on, if you're not sure who it is, don't assume.

there was a thread about people posting a topic like Look! and then explaining it in the topic or WrItInG like that. I posted in about it didn't bother me and it was stupid to complain about it and I got two bad reps for it for having a "attitude"


I also posted something about saying that this wasn't a forum aimed at children and someone bad repped me and said, "Animes and Cartoons are aim for Children."

and the dumbest one was on the Hello Kitty topic I was told I needed to die becasue Hello Kitty and Barbie make more money than I do. They were mad cuz I said Hello Kitty and Barbie have been around too long, which is my opinion. I bed reped them back and said "So you are bad repping me for stating my opinion? LAME!!!" or somthing like that, but I seriously was laughing at that cuz I really offended the person and they were really mad that I didn't like Hello Kitty!

My two personal favorites:

This one was in a politics thread. I absolutely love the comment which simply said 'MEAN'

While the second one wasn't as idiotic, the sender was so utterly shocked at what I said. They just seemed so horrified. It was classic. The sender wrote 'This is gonna sound ridiculous but I think that's a really REALLY awful thing to say. I'm shocked that anyone could be so... Wrong. I almost consider it as an insult to both me and all my friends, sorry if you disagree ~(Name Removed to Protect Identity)'

Cheers for protecting my identity, I appreciate the thought but I wouldn't go back on what I said. Oh, and thanks for saying it wasn't -as- idiotic at least, I don't think I like the idea of being compared to somebody with that level of stupidity.

I've received bad rep four times, three were when I was a stupid newbie and one was return bad rep and based on differing views. I suppose the last was the -most- idiotic, but all had their reasons.

I actually got bad repped because I stated the obvious, Japanese Animation are better than American Animation. Imagine getting bad repped for this on an Anime forum!!
