Some of the "bad reps" I have are quite stupid but not as stupid for having one just because my font is small and can't be seen from the naked eye. >_> I know my excessive swearing is bad, that's something I can understand. But really, what the hell is wrong for me to use a small font?

Most of the forum does, I think that it is the new topic for the '08 year. That is all I hear about ever Jose's rep this, Jose's rep that, my god people let it go already. OOOOOOOOOH and for defending you as far I remember you only good rep me once (confessing admire thing) and bad repped me like 5 times. So I dont think you had much to do in my almost 6000 rep power.
Most people did not leave his/her names but one way or another I found a way to know who repped me, for shame, for shame.

I have two bad reps both from mods, one is from saying a bad word that I can not find, and the other is from replying about my age. the funny thing I got the last bad rep because the mod has dial up. and that was the defining issue as to the amount of punishment I deserve. that is a little harsh no. and I finally got over 100.

Ive recently got bad repped. Someone bad repped me because zombies wouldn't attack because of the thread I made. I know that zombies wont attack. The thread was made to bring up your imagiantion on what you would in case of a zombie attack.

Now, I understand that yes, the mods do give out reps for other reasons, just like members give out bad reps for no reason whatsoever. However, when the message is "dont do this again" is the first step of a warning. We dont have to do this. We could just hand you an actual warning.

Eh, I'm fairly open about my policy that bad reps are hilarious unless they're from a mod about a rule I broke. I say let the harrassment reps stay, so that we may all laugh at them!

Yes my worldwide chums and chumettes, I too have gotten the "bad rep" from people. I believe one was.. " You smell bad " .. which, I really don't know HOW someone could put that.. or WHY they would, but whateve. I thought it was funny. :] I've gotten many crazy bad reps from random people.. some of them, I have no idea for. But usually, they don't leave their names. But if I spam, or act stupid and a mod bad reps me.. then, sure. I deserve it. I learn from it, and move on. :3
On that note, I do belive I've gotten bad rep that said "u dun leik me! =[" and the ever popular, " ......" OH! And I remember, "ur mean to ppl-me" .... So jahh. Bad rep stinks. :/ [I do love the "-me" part. xDD]
Although, as I say to anyone who will listen to me [ i.e, no one..], I am practically a saint in human form. But there is very little thanks I get for it. For instance, the other day I helped a little old lady across the road. I didn't have to--in fact I was in a tearing dash on my way to get some new lippy gloss. But I did, and do you know what she did? She hit me with her umbrella! =o She said that she didn't want to cross the road, she was waiting for her friend to pick her up to go pole dancing.
This is the kind of world we live in.
I've only been bad repped twice once by Myrra for a spammy post which I forgot to edit and once by some ignorant dunce who couldn't stand being corrected.

I always get stupid bad reps which is kind of weird because even if I don't like what someone says I good rep them personally showing my opinion on it that way. o_O Guess you can say I'm not into bad repping someone.
Almost all bad reps I've gotten were very stupid, but be that as it may, I don't get that many.
I BELIEVE the dumbest ones I've gotten were nameless as well as reasonless and one might not of been on this profile but on one I abandoned.. But in any case, it was a bad rep saying that my journal sucked. o_O and spammed my journal with comments saying the same thing in that noobish computer talk.

Gosh, I guess you're right. Not like if it's used responsibly it can indicate who respected members of the forum are, and who are trolls.
I think a more appropriate phrase would be "practice" rather than "concept."
I dunno. I can only imagine how stupid and pointless this all must look to a new member. So concept seems like a fine choice of word.
Well the insane arguments over it are, well, insane, but they still stem from people using the system irresponsibly.
What I meant was, the concept of having a rep/karma system is fine, as their general popularity around the internet proves. How it's being used here(and how people are acting up about it), however, is ridiculous.
