Have you ever had a near death experience?

Have you people had any experience when you almost died..... i certainly did i nearly got ran over by a car when i was crossing the road when i was 5, that really scarred the living hell outta me...... also when my kitchen nearly got burned down. I had quite a few near death experiences and they are not fun..

These moments are truly terrifying and I'm lucky to be alive.

There was one time i thought i was going to die. I got this really bad nose bleed ( i think it was a combination of two big nose bleeds back to back). I lost soooo much blood that time that i almost faited and couldn't even walk right.

well about 3 years ago i was on holiday when me and my older brother thought it would be fun to jump from this beautiful cliff into the sea about 25foot down, when i jumped off it was amazing until i hit the water, i open my eyes and there was a rock to the side of me that would have easily killed me if i had been a meter to the side... we didn't jump off again...

A few months ago I was driving down this road. As I come up over this blind hill I see two cars side by side coming at me. Some god damn jackass was passing another guy right in front of a blind hill. I had to swerve off the road to avoid him. I was going about 60mph and I don't wear a seat belt so it could have been really bad. I missed the car that was in my lane by less than a foot on my left, and I missed a telephone pole on my right by less than a foot when I swerved.

I've almost died a few times actually. I seem to be followed by terrible luck.

A few, actually. Once when I was about ten we had just moved to a big city, into a house on one of the main roads. My friend Molly came over and wanted to go to the dollar store that was across the street. Unfortunately I had not experience in crossing city streets so Molly just dragged me about halfway across the highway... then let go of my arm. So little ten-year old me was left to fend for myself in the middle of a highway on a green light. I tried to run back home but a car cut me off, causing me to sort of trip. The next thing I remember was looking up and seeing a set of tires flash in front of me, about a foot from my face. That's when I thought I was gonna die. After the light turned red and I was able to get back home, I walked into my house, curled up in a ball in the corner and just... cried, out of shock and lingering fear I guess.

Another was when I got the wind knocked out of me and couldn't breathe for a few minutes. This happened once on a bus when we hit a huge pothole, and another time when I tried rollerblading. Both times I was about 11 or 12.

Er...hmm...not that I was about to die..I didn't feel it, but my parents certainly did have the "omg, she's gonna die, we better do something" look on their faces....
That was when I got really sick because of this sickness (don't know how to spell it), then I kept on throwing up every 30 mins, or every time I open my eyes (after resting for a while after vomiting). It felt awful man. >< Then, I almost vomited blood, since there was nothing else to vomit. Then, my parents decided to send me to the hospital, so yeah. Plus, the damn people in the hospital was too damn slow! My dad was calm, my mom was terribly worried, and my half sister was getting pissed (she started cursing x.x; ..yup, runs it the family..) Then, when i was finally on bed, they were starting at me like I was gonna die, or an old man or something ..like a funeral. X_X; It felt too awkward. x.x;...so there.

I cheated death quite a few times.
To start,I almost drowned when I was seven at some summer camp.When I did an allergic reaction to some antibiotics and when I broke my neck during a hockey game.

Well I have had few but the most scary one lol was when I fell of a 1200 ft stack of boxes in my Dad's warehouse when I was little. You see my brother and I were climbing up cause we would always do that for fun whenever are Dad took us to work with him. He left for about 10 minutes and, I guess thats all it took for me to screw up. I wasn't watching where I was going and then I fell. I don't mean to offend anyone here but I really think I could feel Gods hand lifting me down safely. Once again this is what I believe it doesn't mean I am saying wrong about god its just how I felt at the time. I really don't know how I am here today, that is the only expostulation I can give.

Well there was this time when i was nearly run over by a car.It was like mega fast and i was just a little kid.Another time i got hit by a car actually.Don't know how i survived i guess mega lucky i kinda jumped back and that saved me allot of damage!Another time was when i nearly fell of a cliff.Once i almost fell of stairs and they are really high!!!

One time, when I was at the hospital about 8-9 years ago, I was eating Dortios in the Cafeteria, and choked on a huge Dorito. I almost died that day! And when I was drinking soup for dinner about 7 years ago, I choked on a huge piece of bok choy. And yes, I sometimes risk getting hit by cars, I play the Game of Death everyday of my life.

I was at the beach and nearly drowned in the ocean...Got knocked over by a wave, went under, rolled for a while, and was headed for a 5ft deep drop off full of sharp rocks...Thankfully I went from somersaults into a log roll and stopped a few feet before it. My mom was laughing at me...

I have a lot of injuries but never have I experienced a near death situation.
I guess I'm a person who tends to keep risks really low.
Let's see...I have encountered some hazardous situations though. Some examples include, doing flips on the bar of a slide and jumping off swings at a great height. (lol) Yeah, I'm dangerous around the parks. =P
Other than that, nothing really involved me being in a near death situation.

There's two that come to mind.

1- When I was little, I didn't know how to swim and went to a friend's birthday pool party. I was only going to be in the shallow area, but you know how some pools have a sudden slope to the deep end? Well yeah, hers did too. I ended up opening my eyes while laying by the pool, after getting water out of me.

2- Allergic reaction to medication. It got to the point where I couldn't breathe and so they rushed me to the hospital. According to the doctor, any later and I may not have been alive.

Luckily I know how to swim now and I haven't taken any new medications in quite some time, so hopefully those two won't occur again. lol

There was this one time when I was riding the bike with my bro(again),now this time something bad happened,we were riding down a huge hill close to a house.So he said go and we both went down the hill,he went across the street and said to come as well.Well when I went down the hill,a car was coming and my brakes didn't stop all the way,so...........I tried turning the other way but it made me slide and fell off my bike,tumbling down the hill and I hit the street hard and another car was coming and I turnt my head and saw it and thought"I'm going to die" but it stopped but my head was right under the front of the car and one of teh tires were almost on my arm =_= i'm surprised i'm alive.I was 10.

Another would be when I was walking across a bridge with a couple of friends and it was kind of windy.Well they all made a joke and stood on the pole that kept you from of course,flying off the side of the bridge.Well for some reason when I tried to do it I almost fell off,they grabbed me by the back of my shirt and pulled me back since I was so close to falling right off the edge.That whole thing was my dumbness.I was 11.=_=

Frankly I can't remember. My memory fails me. But I'm pretty much pampered (but not spoiled) so accidents are very rare. I may or may not have a close brush to death.

yes i have....more then once. and i have had the naer NAER death kind. the point in which you pass out and your body start to shut down. then you see very very strange things in your brian. almost like a dream. very interesting and almost pleasent.......but i dont plan on doing it again any time soon.
