I liked it The old Degeneration X Well the Second oldest without Shawn With Xpac, Road Dogg, Badass Billy Gunn,Chyna And Triple-H was one of my favorites.

I don't think Shawn Michaels left D-X at that point, he just had an injury. I distinctly remember him at least in a couple of promos.

I remember seeing him as the Comissioner back then so I think he did leave DX but yeah hid did have an injury at the time too.

He never 'Officially' left DX, he was out for several months due to a severe injury being a tear of the quadricep, similar to Triple H's injury from last year. So no, Shawn never really left DX.
