Which anime is better? Bleach or naturo,and why?

Naruto, it's much more emotional and gripping. But Bleach is good too.

LMAO, someone actually bad repped me for that. Ninja Scroll did it in 13 episodes, eh? It did dozens of protagonists, many antagonists, tons of background info, many fights and story arcs in 13 episodes? I'd get a headache from watching something moving that fast.

Now to the question: Is bleach worth your time? That depends on what availability you have to Anime, if you have the option to see different things? See Different things, Bleach isn't worth your time. If however your only other option is to see Naruto? Choose Bleach over it.

But If you have have Other Choices, Chose Them.

I will say this now: If you are a Bleach Fan, that's fine, this post is not meant to flame in any way: I just find Both series to be terrible and am intitled to my opinion.

Bleach as all ways.Its the greatest anime/manga i have ever read and seen.It keeps my attention way longer than Naruto and I just feel so happy while watching it.I dunno know why but i do.

Naruto's cool and all and i like it a lot as well but doesn't compare to Bleach.

I like the plot of BLEACH and as well as the well-developed characters. . . Though, I think there are a bit too many. . . But it's cool that each character has their own personality. I believe Naruto Sucks because it's fanbase kills it, It's been that way with alot of shows, some people just don't know how to act when it comes to promoting their fandom.

You either like the show's they like, or have No Taste, quite frankly, we deem these people "Narutards" Because it's the way they act of "Naruto is so cool" and when someone says "I don't like Naruto" they try to defend it to the high hills.

I being an Anime collector of sound mind? Won't touch Naruto for three reasons

1: It's Fanbase: has completely ruined the show for me.

2: It's Filler content much outweighs it's plot (Random Episode which makes no sense and only serves to make you wait)

3: It's Length: In my opinion: if you take over 100 Episodes to get to the point? You've lost a viewer in me: I make very few exceptions to that Rule: The only one thusfar whom I've made an exeption to that is Ranma 1/2: And that's because I find Ranma isn't promoted nearly as much as it used to be, and is More of a Niche series now than something other than Naruto or Bleach.

allow me to explain why people are annoyed with these "Narutards" and believe me, Narutard, is not a derogatory word. More of a "You need to see more" Label.

Back in 1996, Pokemon had been brought over to America, and everyone was a fan, it was selling like hotcakes, and everyone bought up it's merchandise like crazy

Skip foreward to two years later: And Digimon had hit North America, and those whom were a huge fan of Pokemon, jumped ship and went to Digimon, promoting that show as The Best Show in history.

Again: With Yu Gi Oh, and then also about two years after that. Inu-Yasha. and Now more recently, Death Note and Naruto.

Death Note: is an exception however, because it only lasts 39 Episodes and has a beginning: Suitable Plot, and Ending. Whereas Naruto seems to go on forever: With No Point. and a Fanbase whom In my honest opinion: I garuntee you, will Jump from Naruto to the next big hit of a series that they can get on Adult Swim or Free TV. and call it "The Best Anime Ever" when really, they haven't seen enough to merit an opinion.

This type of behaviour can be remided in one of two ways

One: Activly Search for Anime that is not on TV, save up your money, Research a series that looks interesting to you, and Buy that series, to have a taste completely different than those around you(My Way Personally, because contrary to those whom believe it, I WAS one of those fans whom went "Digimon and Inuyasha is the best thing ever"

Two: Remain a Naruto Fan or a Bleach Fan however don't shamelessly promote it.

An Example of Shameless Promotion is the "SasukeUchihaGirlfriend2050's" that we see in Chat's. - Quite honestly, from the most part, This is looked down upon as blatent Fangirlism. Or in the guys case: if your "NarutoUzumaki1451" Or something of that Nature: it is also looked down upon

In short: It's the fans. The fans blatently trying to shove their belief's down another person's throat's: is what Causes Naruto to lose it's Fandom. Bleach as well.

I'm sorry to everyone whom I offended, but in my humble opinion, that's what the problem is.

To be honest, I'd rather go with Bleach. Instead of describing the postive aspects of the anime, I'm going to explain one of the negative aspects of Naruto.

The "narutards". Now, who exactly is a narutard? Someone who is very obsessed with the show and falls into depression the next moment when his TV/computer stops responding because he was 'beyond eager' to see the new episode. Someone who says, "I luv Naruto!" or "Naruto is da BEST" in each and every comment they post. Specifically on YouTube, Veoh, and many other unfortunate sites. And someone who has a Naruto character in their username with random numbers because somebody else originally had the character's name as their own.

Majority belives that narutards are a major turn-off. Who would've liked it if some retard in a chatroom starts going all "NARUTO RAWKS LOL" randomly? Sure, it's okay if you like an anime but you could at least bother to justify your statement with a solid and acceptable reason. Go try this experiment. Inquire a narutard about one single reason why they like it so much. Chances are, most of them would say: "lol bcuz its cool", "duh! like naruto is best" or something similar to them. And the funny thing is, they pretend to know everything about the show, but, in reality, they don't understand half of what is said in the anime. Thus, they like it because a lot of other people are interested in it, as well. This also explains WHY they don't have a valid answer with them.

Don't forget the fans out there who assume(wish, rather) that Sasuke - or any other Naruto character for that matter - exists. You know, the ones who self-proclaim their rights to own the characters. "i_luv_sasuke", "narutos wife", "shikamarus gf", and whatnot! Heck, some can't even spell their names correctly, let alone state a reason as to how they hooked up with a fictional character. I believe that there are a whole lot of people who get annoyed by this, and hence, gradually stop watching the show. I don't have anything against the fans, it's just that some of them would readily switch to a new popular show because other people are viewing it, too.

I don't mind Naruto having many episodes/chapters (fillers, who watches those, LOL!) since the story is continous, every arc has a point and leads to the next, and the majority of the current events going on have been set up for since the beginning:

Pre-Zabuza Saga: All the main protagonists are introduced. Itachi is foreshadowed as an antagonist.
Zabuza Saga: Develops Naruto and Sasuke. Zabuza and Haku are introduced, and show that Naruto's villains are more than just one-dimensional "me evil!" villains.
Chunnin Exam Test 1, 2, Preliminaries, and training for the finals: Develops the majority of the 12 Leaf shinobi. Orochimaru is introduced as a main antagonist. Jiraiya is introduced.
Chunnin Finals/Konoha invasion: Orochimaru, 3rd Hokage, Gaara, and several Leaf shinobi are developed. Major character death.
Return of Itachi/Search for Tsunade: Itachi is revealed, and Akatsuki is foreshadowed as a major antagonist. Jiraiya and Tsunade are developed.
Sasuke Retrieval: Naruto, Sasuke, Shikamaru, Choji, Neji, Kiba, and the Sand shinobi are all developed. Madara Uchiha (Tobi/possibly the main antagonist) is foreshadowed. All of Akatsuki (in shadow) are revealed. End of Part 1.

Part 1 sets up for everything in Part 2. Akatsuki is already known. Sai is a a part of ANBU, which was mentioned many times before. Yamato is an experiment of Orochimaru, which we knew he did before. We knew there were 9 tailed beasts. Madara Uchiha/Tobi was foreshadowed. This is why I imagine the series will end with the downfall of Akatsuki, since Kishimoto hasn't really set up for anything beyond that. He seems to have an end in sight, which is more than you claim for several other long-running series.

Kishimoto does a good job of giving every arc significance in the overall story, and setting future events up. I've never felt like there's a "villain/plot of the week", as everything that happens in an arc is because of events in previous arcs.

IMHO, it's silly to look down on a series for being "too long". So what, now all book series have to be a specific number as well? Casino Royale was the 21st Bond movie, I guess it's automatically garbage too? I think putting down Naruto for a lengthy story is silly, and while I haven't watched much of Bleach yet, I wouldn't be surprised if it's the same way. Another example: some of Stephen King's best work is his longest works (not to mention the Dark Tower series).

Yes, I'm defending Naruto, and this makes me an idiot in your eyes. But I think the reason the "fanbase" (BTW, thanks for grouping us into one stereotype) is defensive is because most of the opposing arguments are poor. Sasuke is an emotional wreck? No duh, you would be too if that happened to you. Flashbacks? Well, gee, heaven forbid if there's character development. Fights? Well, it's a SHONEN series for one thing, and when the fights stop being strategic and engaging and reduced to "let's kick, punch, and fly real fast!", then I'll agree. I'm not hailing it and calling it the greatest thing of the decade, but I do think it's a good, well-written series. You can have your own opinion on the series, but stereotyping us all into these "retards" is attacking the person, NOT the story. Please don't do that, there's no need to get personal.

Both are great Animes and have their dedicated fans, and both are quite interesting and entertaining. But for some reason I can't get myself to start watching a +100 Episodes Anime. I have both Animes, but still couldn't get myself to start watching them.

Sorry... I have to agree with NovaStar. Both are terrible, and I've seen a fair share of both series.

Naruto just seems to drag out the story for such a long time, and always backing up everyone's actions because of such and such past... It's really depressing and sometimes you don't need to know. However, thanks to the first few episodes, a lot of people have been getting into ramen noodles, and at least probably taking up martial arts.

Unfortunately, thanks to Naruto, I keep getting asked about Chakra at the bookshop I work at. I often wanna tell the kids that Chakra isn't the same thing as in the Anime... Or that ninjas aren't like what they're protrayed as in the series..

I would have to choose Bleach. The whole shinigami thing is cliched, if not, it was poorly executed. It was good watching the first few episodes, but again, this series dragged out too way too long.

And I've heard that if you watch it a bit more longer, you get a lot of female characters with HUGE boobs.... Isn't that just fanservice? Not that I have anything against boobs and fanservice... But it just all seems out of place in the series...

Well that's my humble opinion, feel free to comment on it.
