*blinks*....same as Hiei!....it's like the artist of Yuyu Hakusho draw it! .....Cool!...if you did not say that you use a colored pencil...I will be mistaken to think that you use a color pastel....
I like the drawing...especially the color effects of the shadow in his hand and neck!...Is that Yuusuke's nail above his thumb?...lol...it's a lil long hehe =P....I like his eyes...it's very neat....the drawing is neat....And very professional!

Haha! Yeah, lots of bishonens to love! xD I think Tamahome is a bishonen too, come to think of it most of the guys in FY are bishonen xD

Yep. I keep 'em drawings in a clear book and folders. I usually know where papers, books, etc are stashed around the house--like a librarian of sorts ^^'
And just a while back, I saw my dad's old atache case and remembered that's where a lot of our sketches were kept. And yeah! notebooks and scrap paper full of sketches dating back to 1999 xD

Yuusuke is Izumi Kaminari's drawing though, not mine. ^^ Thanks for the nice comments. *Goes to tell Izumi about it*

naotavespaboy: Thanks! ^^ Nah~ not everything though. Hmmm... idk, I've been drawing/doodling a lot since I was a kid, but then as I said, I gradually stopped and haven't drawn for almost a 6-7 years X_x Nope. I don't have formal schooling in drawings/art... but I did and still watch a lot of anime xD

Just some fanart doodles of ryuuen (original character of ryuuen tanaka) I did sometime midnight last night. xD

It's sort of a study of the male eye expressions... lawl
Except of course, the smiling girl on the corner and that stuffed little fella [kind of jealous of him actually... he just looks so happy and satisfied xD ]

Well, only have time for doodles as of late... >_>

Harara: Thanks! ^^ Yep, lots of our fanarts are mostly based on posters and screencaps. LOL well, I would say the artworks are exact replicas ^^' but we do try our best to make them as close to how the characters actually look... and that skill came out of years of doodling and doing homework infront of tv watching anime and cartoons x3 Thanks again! It took me a while to do that 'coz I learned how to vector with that piece. I'm hoping I could finishe the 2 vectors am working on... on and off x3

A lot of my works are on scrap paper. I find that I'm more spontaneous when I draw on scrap rather than on my sketch pads or specialty papers. xD Strange... but knowing that I can just toss it out if it turned out terrible actually makes my drawings/works a wee bit better xDD

It's been quite a while... so it's about time I update xD

It probably doesn't fall under the category fanart, unless of course if you consider me a fan of flowers.. then yeah, it's fanart! xD

It's a traditional media painting I did last Saturday. Done with acrylics and watercolor pencils on a 9 x 11 acid free watercolor paper. It took me less than 4 hours to complete it [sketch + color]. I'm quite satisfied with how it came out considering the time frame. I normally take more hours than that to complete a painting xD I'm happy to have completed it and so I would like to share it with you.

I'm still learning using acrylic my second try with acrylics actually And so, as with my other works, I'd be glad to hear comments and constructive criticisms on how I could improve. ^^

I think it's great. Great shading, wonderful coloring and nicely drawn. The only thing messing the impression are traces of pencil :/ I know how irritating that is!! Especially when painting with acrylic or water colors. It's nice to see you doing something other than fan art; it means improvement ;] All in all, straight A from me! ^^

Different emotions? Yep, you can say that. I was practicing drawing eyes. Those are based on the drawings of Ryuuen Tanaka ^^ I'm learning other ways to draw eyes... 'coz eyes are my favorite parts to draw, once I'm satisfied with how the eyes turn out, there's a greater probability of me finishing the drawing! xD

About momoshiro's drawing of "Are you challenging me?", it's untidiness is probably mostly my fault xD I was too excited to get something scanned the scanner was sparklingly new that day xD that I could wait for momo to clean it up...

LOL The Umi drawing is done by me xD Sorry for the confusion, I should put in who drew which esp that there's 3 of us sharing this thread ^^' Yep, those eyes lashes are characteristic of MKR ^^ I use to stare long into the tv when it was aired locally to memorize those eyes. xD The particular drawing however was based on a picture on an anime magazine. I like how she looked there and her hair was short! xDD

The Gundam Pilots were made by me Again, sowee for the confusion ^^' The drawings of the pilots were based on 5 separate pictures which I drew together or composited to make the compostion. Glad you like the outcome ^^

Wow! Sunflowers have a different meaning to you then xD... LOL Yep. He's definitely a rose xDD Erm... I can't remember drawing a portrait of a live subject... I'd probably be too conscious looking and staring back and forth at the subject and I'd be too pressured of course I'd want the portrait to come out perfect esp so that the subject is right there! xD But I did do some portrait sketches Imma post one soon xD LOL Yeah, framing it would be nice... but it'd be hard to keep framed art in my room or in the house not enough space so I just keep it in a folder right now along with the others xD

heheh.. it's dirty.. yea, i know... it hasn't gone through the cleaning process yet... i wanted to clean it up first but mika was so excited and persistent to use the scanner.. yep! its a paintbrush.. and a pencil too... it's like the kid is getting ready for an extreme art challenge! XDDD

i'll try to post an updated.. and cleaner version.. tnx for the comments.. i'll keep up on the "5-min sketch-can't-find-the-eraser" style.. its speedy.. and spontaneous in a way and i kinda feel i work well with it.. heheheh... i'll try to keep it cleaner next time.. XDD

...it's one of mika's works actually.. i have a colored version of it .. can't quite find it though. it seems i got it stashed somewhere really well-hidden.. *sigh* MKR is really a great anime for studying eyes and color schemes.. tnx for input.. i'll tell mika about it.. ^^
