Blasphemy! There must be a thread for discussing this wonderful movie!

It's been out for awhile. It starts out in the Disney animated world of princesses and fairy tales, then, through an EVIL ACT, turns to the frightening world of real-world New York City. The whole movie makes fun of Disney princess movies in a tasteful way, and is quite entertaining to old-Disney buffs like myself. I even love the themesong for the movie, "Ever Ever After" - there's an animated version of Carie Underwood in the music video!

I've seen it... 3 times now? Maybe just twice? I think it was three times. And I intend to see it again before it leaves theaters. The last time I was this excited by a movie wasn't since Stardust last summer, and I only caught onto that one as it was leaving theaters.

enchanted... ive i dont know what it is... then again i think i saw something on a billboard that sounds like it... i wonder if thats it... i have a copy of stardust though... maybe i should watch it tonight.. hmmm.. wonder if its a nice movie...

I went to see it shortly after it was released. I was quite pleasantly surprised by how clever it was. My favourite had to be the scene where she's cleaning up the apartment. Nearly every Disney princess has friends in the animal kingdom to help her with tasks like cleaning, but the ones this princess managed to get in NYC left me feeling not just a little bit disgusted. =P

Anyway, while in London, I saw all the shameless promoting that Disney was doing there and have included a pic of one example. (Not completely off topic here).
If I had had the time, I'd've taken Kev to go see it just for the sake of seeing it again and to see if he'd like it as much as my brother did when dragged to go see it.

I have high expectations for Disney movies, because they've never let me down! (except for High School Musical..sorry ~ I seriously can not watch it.. I think Zack whatshisface and Vanessa showmybits are too cocky for their own good)

I watched this movie with my mom, because I figured that it's one of those movies that she would like. And I thought it was an adorable twist to a fairy tale story. It really touched up a good moral: Life can't always follow a fairytale story. Although it was easy to kind of guess the ending and what will happen next, it's cute and too loveable

Although I agree that I could see the ending for Giselle, I was a bit surprised with the way it turned out for Edward.

Ahhh, Edward! Valiant, handsome, dim-witted, and utterly lovable.

I LOVE THIS MOVIE. It was genius, in my opinion. I mean, there's never been a story like this before-- never a story in this genre so well-written and beautiful I mean. When I walked into the movie theater, I was expecting it to be kind of shallow. But when I walked out of the movie theater, I was utterly surprised. This movie is my idea of a perfect movie-- good morals, animation AND real life characters, awesome music, and great actors. Definitely one of my all-time favorites!!

Enchanted looks really awesome, and I intend to see it as soon as I stop being lazy. I saw I am Legend and Juno, so Enchanted is next on the list. :3 I think that is really is very clever of Disney to come out with this movie. It should be wonderfully hilarious and not sickeningly cute.
