I think he is unsure if he should do what he dose but he dose it in the hopes a woman will be willing to bare is son
u know he wants a son to finish what he has to do in case he dies unfulfilled
And well like i said he doesn't know how to be romantic. However he did get a little bit better as the show went on right

i like very much how miroku looks like

Eh, I found two comical reasons-
1. Any sane woman won't fall for it. Every time a woman does say yes, she turns out to be a demon. Coincedence? I think not. I think that secretly, he's a demoness detector! HAHAHAHA
2. If he has all these women bear him children, eventually one might get Naraku

Miroku=Potential Rapist.......No, Miroku is one of the reasons inuyasha is a funny show. I think it shows even Monks are dirty...No body is perfect..that kind of thing. Also I think his perverted ness is a major attempt to get Sango jealous...and i think it does a pretty good job.
