i dont own any video games based on anime but ive played alot of the
DBZ games, and I played a Tenchi Muyo game a long time ago on SNES
and... i think thats it...

Street Fighter was certainly not based off an anime o_O;. Other way around. I really don't like anime based games. They're not too terribly good if you ask me. In fact, I can't really name a good one.

oh dang! true that...but uhhh.. the budokai games dont they follow the sotrys in single player? and uhh.. ive never played naruto so idk about that one it could be pure 100% fighting...

Yeah well the Budokai dose folow the story in a way and its a cool game. While Naruto Ultimate Ninja disapointed me.It folows the story to a certacin part then some stupid things are added like Kakashi loses his Sharingan for a while and Orochimaru brings Zabuza,Haku and The Third Hokage from the dead and that has no conection to the story!Well the game itself is not so bad alot of good fighting and the voices from the people who gave them in the anime in english version are in here so thats a + for the game.

Would love to talk about it but I never beaten the story mode on any of the anime games I just stated.....because sadly they disappoint me. Well the games were good and it does look pretty cool, but the fighting gameplay isn't what I enjoy playing.....more like a Tekken/Dead or Alive guy...

Oh yeah Tekken is based on the anime Tekken. haha

I have played DBZ butiki 1 and 2 btw sorry if i didn't spell it right
I have beet it about 4 times already
my best character is Veagta i am very skilled with him
so ya i have played a lot more but there is far to much to list

So I guess if an anime is made from a game it counts? So Street Fighter, Darkstalkers, Tekken, Virtua Fighter,Samurai Shodown, Fatal Fury, KoF, Art of Fighting, Mega Man, Sonic etc. all count?

For me the ones I like would be...Although I think all were manga's before they were animes...But meh.

Macross for NES/Famicom

U.N Squadron/Area 88 (SNES & Arcade versions) Also my favorite shmup for the SNES.

Cyborg 009 for Super Famicom was kinda cool.

Dragon Ball Z2 was something I played a lot in the SNES days.

Tekken the game came a bit before Tekken the anime...In the 90's making an anime based on a game seemed to be kinda popular...Kinda like making a movie based on a game is now..

Most of the anime's based on games (especially fighting games) kinda sucked.

Two more I thought I'd add because well..I just didn't think about them at 5am..And that would be:
Magic Knight Rayearth (Saturn)
Ghost in the Shell (PS1)
and Sailor Moon RPG for Super Famicom. Theres an english translation of the rom floating around on the net..So thats how I played it...
