Most are pretty simple.. and often lame..

Hmm, from what I'm seeing, you're not doing much other than slapping text on top of a picture and then throwing a border around it. Try playing around with tools more if you're using Adobe Photoshop or GIMP.
thats just it.. I'm on vacation at my parents house (yes they made me, no I didn't want to).. On Monday Ill be back on campus.. and hopefully I'll be able to get into the Mac Lab to use photoshop. 'Till then, I'm stuck with paint..Originally Posted by clowangel

It's kind of hard to see the text, and it's really empty.
But it's not bad and I really like the lighting.
You gave yourself a perfect opportunity to add text to the right of the signature.
You're forgetting one more thing though...

That's a LOT better.
Although now it's a bit empty on the right side.
Try placing the text in a place where it seems more appropriate.
Don't ask me how, as I don't really know, however I know if it looks good when I see it.
(I know, weird, don't ask as I said)
Try playing with brushes that you can download in Deviant Art.
Or blend in a C4D.
Overall, it's good. Just fill in the negative space and you're good.

Flow and color are a definite. Try out adjustment layers for colors, and smudging in combination with clipping masks for good flow for your 'war' based signatures. Hope that helps.
New sig/avi set.. Just the result of me playing around with some brushes and stuff..
I'm not quite sure what to think of it.. so what do you?

There nice.The current updated one is a little blurred,unless you wanted it that way.The border is quite nice but maybe addinga little something else to the background.I like it actually.The one before it is nice and you did great with^^
