The sons of *****es Giants beat them 14-17. I'll admit as much as i HATE the Giants, they played a fair game and they were pretty good, i have to give them their props.
But look at it this way Patriot fans, The Pats have a 17-1 streak here, WAY better then every other team. So Giants get the Superbowl victory but the Pats have a record breaking victory streak.

Agreed. But it was suprising that the Patriots had a perfect season up to the Super Bowl and ended at the last quarter.

EPIC FAILURE.

Overall it was a well-played game, and most of the scoring took place in the 4th quarter, straight up until about 30 seconds before the end.
Being a New Yorker, I've gotta say this was an EPIC WIN instead.
I think I spent more time on that as well. Anyway, it doesn't matter if the Patriots lost or not, they still have the longest running winning season in NFL. Eli Manning shouldn't have gotten that award, he's no different then any other NFL quarterback. Most of the attention from the media stems from the fact he's related to Peyton, so they think he's just as good. I'd really like to see it go to someone else.Oh, and to all those who said they gave WAY too much attention to Tom Brady. The biggest story on him was when he had a hurt ankle. Nothing else beyond that was that big. The biggest story on Eli Manning was how great he was. So, even if you still think Brady is bad, Manning is just, no worse.

Pats should of gone for the field goal instead of the TD when it was 4th and 13, I think. That could of change the outcome of the game.
I am so happy. I hate the Patriots so much. The headline from my towns paper read, "Not Perfect, Just Better" and it showed a picture of Eli Manning. It was beautiful.

Ah, slapped down at last! NE had this coming since week 1. The set-up for the fall almost makes the regular season streak bearable.
All in all the Giant's run seems very -esque of the Steelers run 2 years ago.
Pittsburgh went into the playoffs as the no 6 seed, NY went in as the no 5 seed.
Pittsburgh defeated the no 1, 2, and 3 seeds on the road, NY defeated the no 1, 2, and 4 seeds on the road, in similar order (Pit 3, 1, 2 | NY 4, 1, 2).
Seattle was the NFC's no 1 seed in 2005, NE was the AFC no 1 seed in 2007.
In the 2005 season, Seattle was the top scoring offense in the league. In 2007, it was NE.
Pittsburgh won Super Bowl XL, with a combined score of 31 points, NY won Super Bowl XLII, with a combined score of 31 points.

I work in a call center for a satellite tv company and I had to listen to people crying all day because they couldn't watch the stupid bowl. I hate sports so I have no sympathy. You will not die just because you missed a stupid football game.
I'll ignore my rage for people who don't like sports.
I'll say stop complaining as well, it's not about what you think watching the game is worth. That customer is paying money for their service. If I'm paying to watch something and it's not coming through I'd be pretty pissed myself.
