gundam 00 mobile suits

hello everyone

i just watched some episodes from gundam 00 , and i didnt really like the mobile suits, some are kind of fat , and the rest is mostly disformed in my opinion , i would like to hear what you guys think of the new suits

I like the designs as well, it seems as if they brought back some of the designs we've seen in previous Gundams, like Turn A Gundam and Gundam X.

Most of the Gundam 00 design incorperate pervious Yoshiyuki Tomino's Gundam concepts (probably Wing and UC) and other mecha designs (Full Metal Panic).

All but Virtue have the Gundam features but with figure-look resemble of Arbalest. Kyrios has the resemble of Zeta Gundam since both units are transformable MS. Virtue in other hand looks like one of the UC Gundam.

 

Later in the series, it's actually a Gundam in a purgable armour

Well, they look ok to me. comparing them with the other models from previous series I notice small deviations from the former concepts and designs. BTW, I prefer Virtue among the others. XD

i like Gundam V X ... but now i think 00 will be beyond the former series...

Exia = The new thing, typically of course rather standard xcept the blade. People who only whatch Gundam W keep bantering about the pilot being a Heero ripoff because they apparently have no Gundam knowledge.

Dynames = They took a GM Sniper Custom, made it into a Gundam, voila.

Kyrios = See Zeta/Airmaster.

Nadleeh = Lets call it Noble Gundam mk II

Virtue = This is probably the one you think of as "fat". Its quite an original design though, one could say Grand or Bolt Gundam were already fat or maybe ZZ but not in this way.

I think the suit are okay even though they got some super ability such as jamming signals and the ability to go invisble, they still get whooped by better pilots too bad something always comes up and the fight ends such miraculusly pulling out a beam saber or purging your armour or they get a call to retreat

Well it seems to me that all the suits use GN particles, which apparently helps them fly or hover without much problems. This also acts as a jamming sequence, which allows them to disrupt radar and communication channels, as well as acting as some sort of shield, similar to that of V Gundam's "wing's of light". Virtue used the GN particles to reenter the Earth's atmosphere.

From what we've seen from the series so far is that the Gundam's rely on team work and tactics.. It seems to me that if they were on a one-on-many fight, they wouldn't stand a chance.. I mean Lockon Stratos can't hit moving targets...

Also there are three other Gundams coming soon with red GN particles... So these would effectively be enemy Gundams, but I'm not sure which army they belong to...
