help me find good mecha anime, and remember the tittle of this mech show.

ok im looking for a good mech help me please?

1)what im looking for is not gundam or any robots/mech that resembles it or those old mecha anime's like Voltes 5 oh and no zoids too, im not saying their not good or anythin but you see im making a RPG game so i need inspirations and design's for my sprites , what im looking for are very nicely good detailed mecha any one wanna sudgest one.

2)ok there was this show i use to watch when i was a kid i dont know if its an anime by the way it was drawn but. its where humans faught with each other wearing robot suits they called it Exo Suit sorry that is all i remember i was 3 when i watched that

I'm not 100% positive on what your looking for but three good mechas I know are Evangelion, Eureka 7, and RahXephon.

And what mecha do you want? Something big and flashy like Gaogaigar or more somthing that actually looks like it went through scientific developement like M9 Gernsbacks or the MP Guntanks from 8th MS Team?

any way this are just walking sprites you know what you see in towns etc this are not the battle sprites, any way those sprites look bigger when you play it coz im using 640x480 resolution offcourse 32bit so help me out oh yeah anyone got a good story? i cant think of anythin good to start with i already have one buts its not that good =( feels like its already been done =(

What the heck do you mean with "they look like gundams"? Do you actually know how absurd that sounds when someone says gaogaigar looks like a gundam? XD

And I hope you don't think Gundam only has Gundam Wing/SEED to offer, because thats like... far off.

ok =) tnx for the pics man they realy help i made 3 new sprites coz of those and i still got many ideas commin in ^_^ your a great help here is what they turn out to be

note the image is enlarge so you can see it better also this sprites have complete moving animation front back sideview walking I didnt post them coz i have only start to sprite and make the game. also ignore the core. ^_^ and the red tank mech needs lot of work im a filling up the spot on his back but i dunno what to put =-(


ill try on mixing Ash Sabre with some of the other pics to make a cool lookin hero

it was called Exo squad if memory serves me correctly...they all had diffrent suits, some cool toys way back when...

ei tnx yeah i use to watch that on cha. 21 in philippines you know with the rest of the old japanese/chinese martial arts and kungfu show , oh yeah there is another one that i just remember ahhhhh i cant remember any of the deails exept for the images T_T that realy didnt help.

I hate Mech animes but once I watched Code Geass and especially, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, I changed my mind. HIghly recommended

if you want mecha that arnt gundamish look at Five Star Stories, damn things look fragile as hell, try making the model cause they are fragile as hell. Gothicmade is another one by the guy that did FSS. the tank from Ghost in the shell is cool...everything else is gonna look gundamish...even the Macross units...you cant get away from that basic design outline...its in alot of animes...

Which is based on Heavy Metal L-Gaim, made by Tomino, who created Mobile Suit Gundam. In the world of anime, there is no way to get past gundam, its safe to say about any anime fan has run into a Gundam pun or reference at least once with or without noticing, because its EVERYWHERE!

ahh, but the mecha in FSS dont look like Gundams...they are very ornate...like a giant walking china set...

o yeha, and check out Pilot Candidate, the goddess mechs that they use are diffrent

You simply don't know enough stuff from gundam :P just being anorexic doesn't mean they won't look like units from there.
