What were you doing on your Coldest Day of the year?

That would have to be when it snowed in the valley in California. I pretty much took pictures, tossed a few small snowballs, enjoyed the dark clouds, felt the feeling leave my hands. My mother was really ill but didnt want to lose the chance to watch the snow so we helped carry her out to the garage to watch the snow fall for a little while. After the snow stopped the clouds opened a little and it got even colder. Thats nature for ya. Its cliche but I think I remember drinking some hot cocoa. XD

I demand that you define "cold" cos my idea of cold and Eris' are vastly different. I could never tolerate her cold days cos I don't like temps below 25C (and notice that's not negative). As to what I was doing....well, we've many days left of the year so I don't know that we've had the coldest day yet, but if it's a weekday, I'm working in it. If it's a weekend, I'm sheltering against the cold. And if it's snowing, I'm out taking pictures in it. Which is what I did on Wednesday last when the temps dropped suddenly and it snowed huge flakes.

We haven't gotten below -20 C yet, so I'm still out biking around the snow filled trails before it gets too cold. When the real cold stuff comes I'll naturally take refuge in my house with a cup of hot chocolate.

Well the first thing I usually do is go to the toilet, that depends if I am fully clothed the night before, if not I get dressed first.

me and my friends were freezing in my Apt. i think it was last year but we had a really bad ice storm and it knocked the power out for like half the town for about a week. sucked so much.

I remember it was a few years ago, my god it was coooold, I was watching t.v and like hibernating under my favorite blanket lol. My school was actually CLOSED for once! *_* My school rarely closes..T^T

For reference, my definition of an apocalyptic heatwave is somewhere around 25-30C, those days I ponder ways of killing myself that don't include any sort of bodily movement that would produce more heat. My threshold for comfortable warmth is 15C-ish, I'll survive 20C, but it better be damn cloudy. I prefer 10C if I have to actually do some sort of physical labor outdoors.

I think I found a new winner for me. Just tonight I was waiting at a bus stop after work for half an hour waiting for the bus. I was sitting there in mostly darkness and it was ungodly cold with the wind blowing. I thought my ear was going to fall off. Bus was running a little late too it seemed so you can imagine the grumbling and complaining I was ranting about waiting for it.

I live in California. The coldest it gets here,(where I live at least) is 35 degrees,above zero. I don't consider that very cold.

As of this year, I haven't really experienced any particulary cold days. Think the coldest was new years day, and then I was sitting inside.

For the coldest I can remember was when it was about... -30-35 celcius and we were out filming for a school project a few years ago. The camera kept turning itself off and it's hard handling the small buttons on the camera wearing gloves so I had to take those off and one of my friends who was being the actor had to sit on the ground... A lot of fun xP

well i went for a walk in the deep snow with my big dog. no one was out and it was queit and then tiny snow fell and i just stood there listend to the quiet and watched the snow fall...and hoped that the world will allways be this beautful...............TAkE THAT YOU LOUSY COUCH POTATOES!!!!
