Character Similarites

I was wondering about this...is there any anime characters that are similar to each other and what show are they from? If you find any similarities your chosen characters shares, it would be appreciated.

Let me start mine off as an example:

Kyba (Yu-gi-oh) & Paul (Pokemon: Diamond & Peral)

How are they similar: Both only think for themselfs and both are rivals to Yugi and Ash.

I'unno about that, but I always thought Inuyasha and Ichigo (from Bleach) were a lot alike. And not just because they both have big swords. :P

Appearance-wise, Kaon and Himeko from Kyoshiro to Towa no Sora could be mirror images of Chikane and Himeko from Kannazuki no Miko. But then, those series are by the same people, I think.

Both can project energy
Both are broken beyond repair plot armor wise.
Both...Uhh...Have black hair?

those two are a lot alike they have like the same personality traits except that Momiji kun cries a lot more than Honey senpai, Honey senpai can just be emotional at times

These two are similar only by looks not by personality traits or anything like that, when it comes to personality these two are the total opposite, (unless you count when Touma tries to please Masaru's 30 year old mom...pervert)

I've thought for some time now that there's a conspiracy at play here...
For one reason or another, Tatsuki (Bleach) and Videl (DB) seem annoyingly similar yet different to me.

Kira Yamato from Gundam SEED and Kai Kudo from E's Otherwise. *nods* they look alike, and they've both got that angsty-boy-to-save-the-world thing going on.

..and you could just compare pretty much all the heroines and love interests in Yuu Watase's stories and find that they look the same and act the same. blah.

Utena from "Revolutionary Girl Utena" and Oscar from "Rose of Versailles." For one thing they both cross-dress and they're both strong, intelligent women that stand-up for what they believe in.

Hmmm.....Hanamichi Sakuragi (Slam dunk) & Uzumaki Naruto (Naruto) they are very similar epecially when it comes to atittude...they are very funny & enthusiastic.

I was gonna say that too. Both of them are impulsive, fairly dense when it comes to women...fairly brave and have the inner demon - Inu's demon blood and Ichigo's hollow side. So I would agree with that.

hmmm this is tough...well i can name a few


-kazuma Kuwabara(yu yu hakusho) and Hanamichi Sakuragi(slam dunk)- both are arrogant punks who love brawls

-Traize Kushranada[sorry dont know how to spell his name] (gundam wing) and Aizen Sosuke (bleach)= both have cool, calm personalities. unusual because they're antagonists

-Ichimaru Gin(bleach) and Hisoka (HunterXHunter)=both have that weird creepy smile

-Rei ayanami (evangelion) and Ryomou Shinmei (ikki tousen)= both have cold personalities and actually resemble each other quite well

They both have a stark resemblance to each other, hair-color, body-type, sweet and soft-spoken. But, of course, Inoue has the tougher hide between the two since Asahina always appears like a sissy the way Haruhi bosses her around.

Hey there!

Well, I have several that a very or pretty similar and all FOUR pairings, are from the same two animes.

1.) Kurapica (Hunter x Hunter) + Kurama/Shuichii (Yu Yu Hakusho) = Both are intelligent and wear dressy clothing, such as tunics or something. Like, they wears long pants and a skirt type thingy so in that way they are similar. Not to mention their girly features and long distance weapon, well kind of. (Kurapica=chains...& Kurama=rose whip)

2.) Leorio (Hunter x Hunter) + Kuwabara (Yu Yu Hakusho) = Both are slightly stupid (or incrediably stupid at times) and have short distant combats (Kuwabara=spirit sword...& Leorio=fist fighting) Short hair and are easily taken in by women (although none really accept them (not sure about Leorio, can't remember))

3.) Gon (Hunter x Hunter) + Yusuke (Yu Yu Hakusho) = Okay, not the same height or anything but, they both wear green clothes and are a bit dippy in their nature. They refuse to give up in any circumstance and can sometimes tease others, a littel dense.)

4.) Killua (Hunter x Hunter) + Hiei (Yu Yu Hakusho) = Both have death pan glares, are ruthless killers and not to mention very powerful. Both short (although Killua is 12) and eye shapes are similar as well. Sometimes have sarcasm but not all the time (mainly for Hiei who is not always sarcastic.) Doesn't really want to involve anybody else in their business and keep other people out of danger (close people, although that would be the last thing they'd admit.) Both fast and close combat (Killua=hands, fist fighting (?)...& Hiei=sword, fist fighting)

Wow! Very long but I think I got my point across. Meaningless junk I guess but meh! It was fun writing it all down and remembering things at the same time! Think I have enough evidence? Oh yeah! The two animes are from the same creator! I forgot his name but it's something like... Togashi? (is that right? Check Yu Yu Hakusho, then you'd know.)

byakuya and itachi...totally similar...............both are 'cool' and strong and are brothers to one of the characters in the anime...

Kurosaki Ichigo (bleach), Shiba Ganjyu(bleach), Kuzumi Taiga(Mx0), Kintaro Toyama(tantei gakuen Q)-all they think was violence and fighting.....

Hajime Kindaichi (hajime kindaichi shonen no jikenbo),Q Renjyo (tantei gakuen Q)-they don't look the same at all....but they act exactly the same........

Raimon Taro aka Monta (eyeshield21),Jack(MAR)-both looks like monkeys...

Natsu (fairy tail),Kosuke Ueki(euki no housoku)-they look almost the same...

Yuki Sohma(fruits basket),Kokoru(petite princess yucie), Nagato <was it Yuki Nagato?>(haruhi suzumiya no yuuutsu)-they sure look almost the same with 'that' hairstyle and quiet personality...

Komusubi Daikichi(eyeshield 21), Doraemon(doraemon<duh>)-same size and shape...

Kai Suwabara(yakitate japan),Seichiro Sano(ueki no housoku)-they look and act almost the same...

Sai(naruto),Fye d Flowright(tsubasa chronicles),Koizumi Itsuki(haruhi suzumiya no yuuutsu),Ichimaru Gin(Bleach)-all of them are perpetually smiling with eyes closed but still there ia something scary about them...
