Hope is what keeps us going
Its what we all do
Waiting by the phone for a certain some one to call
It’s a word often spoken
Used by all who believe
It’s the silver lining on any gray cloud
It’s a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day
Hope is something great
It’s a smile from a friend
That extra something when a day goes bad
It will last forever
Has existed as long as time itself
Its what helps the world go round
I believe in its strength
And carry it in my heart
Hope is just that it is hopeful
