canceled games

talk about games that were canceled that you really wanted to come out.
For me it would be creator 64 /Mario Talent Studio for the 64DD that woulda been sweet!!

Thrill Kill, you were complete but got canned for being lewd. I played a leaked copy and you kinda sucked, but your spiritual successor(Wu-Tang: Shaolin Style) was worse.

Yeah, there was a Kirby platformer suppose to come out on the gamecube that got cancled. It'll most likely be released on the Wii.

I remember Sony tried to remake "Chrono Trigger" from the SNES to make a 3-D version on Playstation but it failed..xD. I guess that's why they combined the SNES one with a Final Fantasy one when it came out on Playstation.

Under development by the original developer of the series, Manfred Trenz, in cooperation with Rainbow Arts/THQ, it was later scrapped due to the fact that Mr. Trenz felt that the 3D designers were only interested in the cash, and that they didn't really care about the quality of the game.

Yeah.

It's a common mistake though, the early dev shots portrayed Crono as the assumed main character I think. It was only later revealed to be Chrono Cross, a game that I feel is looked back on as inferior to Trigger WAY too harshly.

Since quite a few people mentioned the 64DD, I feel it only necessary to mention the Zelda 64 program they planned, enabling custom dungeons and such.

No it wasn't Chrono Cross. It was an actual Chrono Trigger game remade in 3-D from the origninal SNES version to be on playstation. It got canceled due to lack of attention to it I assume. Chrono Cross was an actual game though..but the remake of Chrono Trigger in 3-D failed =/.

Which year was this? The only thing I can see of a Chrono Trigger 3D is a game called Chrono Resurrection, a fan-made game that was discontinued due to a cease and desist letter from Square Enix Co., Ltd.

Um..I think it was back in like..early 2000 or 1999. I think the trailer is up on youtube somewhere. It was really weird and it only showed like the first few minutes of the game where the story actually begins.

It is that one. Chrono Resurrection was the one I was talking about. I just couldn't remember it's actual project name. Chrono Cross was an actual game and I knew it wasn't that one cause I played it lol..but yea Chrono Res. was the canceled game for the PS they tried making a while back. =/
