Tenchi has a few seasons so it kind of finished but not really. And Detective Conan is still going with over 467 episodes or so. Anyway my favorite that was canceled would be...hmm probably City Hunter since they showed the movie and a few eps on Anime Network but nothing more and I was too lazy to find the rest since there's over 100 something eps <.<

I'd like to clear something up: Tenchi Muyo was not canceled, Tenchi Muyo had a third season releaed by Funimation which spanned six Episodes, while this is not clearly the ending This did continue the OAV which started in 1993.

Inuyasha also did not get canceled: It was actually the last Episode(161) And that was an Ending, it was just a really bad Ending

My answer on cancelled series: Sailor Moon. I'm sorry if It's cliche but Sailor Moon should have had a conclusive ending.

Haha okay don't know if you were trying to be helpful or a douche but you are correct in Tenchi did not get canceled but for 1 none of the tenchi t.v. series'/seasons are directly based off of the ova series the closest one would probably be the third series GXP since it takes place in the same timeline, BUT it is not based on Tenchi Masaki it is merely a t.v. spinoff of the original OVA's. Secondly by your own logic Inuyasha would be a canceled show since Sailor Moon was finished but did not have a desired ending thus the same could be said about Inuyasha therefore making it a canceled series. I would say Kare Kano. It was never finished! The last episode says "to be continued". Very frustrating, I really wanted to see what happens. I hope it gets picked up by someone else just like how Kanon was done again.

neways...this show was canceled in the US back when I was still in elementary school, which was like 8 years ago haha...why did they cancel Voltron!!!! @.@

Yeah it makes me angry when you have to read the rest of the story I DEMAND they finish DearS up to where the manga ended....and past that too>.o. Oh and speed racer had to be one of the cheapest animations ever created I mean seriously did they have a low budget or something...that's why it gets made fun of so much...other than that GO RACER X the things I learned in that show I actually use in driving sometimes rofl like slow down before the turn and accelerate through the curve.

Yeah, Candidate for Goddess. Haunted Junction is so short too; 6 episodes, I think. This anime is very funny (though I don't watch the subbed/dubbed, I still laugh at their actions). Too bad they discontinue it.

Legend of Basara is probably my favorite anime to be canceled. It was cut short just when the series got awesome.

Also Battle Angel Alita, since it never was given the chance to realize its full potential. Especially considering how incredibly awesome the manga is.

I Own Most of the Tenchi Muyo Series, from OAV's To Universe To Movies and Now OVA III And the way it works is that Each Tenchi Muyo series can be considered it's own series (Universe, Tokyo Movies) what have you, and they all have they're complete endings, as they're not related to the original OVA which aired for 13 episodes in 1993

The OAV III is Considered the Continuation of the 13 Episode Original OVA Which in a way now makes the Original Tenchi Muyo 19 Episodes Long (with the Inclusion of the Third OAV) Which is connected to the second

So In Lamens Terms

Everything aside from The Original OAV And The Third OAV Which Was Released by Funimation is not connected and has nothing to do with the end of the series, they're spinoffs and have their own end

But Tenchi Muyo! (The Original) Offically Ran for 19 Episodes(With The 2005 Continuation Included) And That DID End: So unless they decide to make more: Yes: Tenchi Muyo does have a conclusive Ending

i hated it when they didn't show the rest of:

1: sailor moon (second season didn't come up)
2: cardcaptors (second season episode one only viewed)
3:ravemaster (they didn't even finish the series!)

i really don't get why the channel productions don't bother finishing all the episodes of the remaining series? T-T i really wanted to follow ravemaster too
oh well...
gladly we have two channels in england called anime central and anime network, and they go through all the episodes as followed ^-^
