Default Favorite tale from the book Fairy Tales of the Brothers Grimm

In order to save myself from complete and total boredom, I've found my copy of this book and am currently catching up on the German fairy tales told to me as a child. I've come to find that they're even more interesting to me now as an adult.

My favorite one is called Believe it or Not. My favorite quote from it is "I saw a deaf man, a blind man, a dumb man, and a lame man catch a hare. The deaf man heard it coming, the blind man spotted it, the dumb man shouted, "There it goes!" and the lame man ran and caught it by the collar."

Which Grimm fairy tale is your favorite?

Hahahaha! I am a fairytale guru. It's pathetic, really.

Anyway, my favorites tend to be the dark ones...especially the ones Disney "happy-fied." The original Cinderella? Sick. The original Sleeping Beauty? Sicker. The original Beauty and the Beast. Sickest. Darkest, too.

Agreed, the original Snow White is pretty dark too.

Chibi, I'll be checking out Fairy tale books from the library soon, I guarantee it. I want to read recent ones that authors have come up with. Tithe is one of my favorite faery books of all time.

and with that, I'm seriously going to sleep now~
