Xenosaga: KOS-MOS

New one again. This one is KOS-MOS from Xenosaga. Not sure if this particular extract is from the game or from the anime though. Help?^^'

I did a technology theme for this. Am I glad I managed to find the brushes. Though there seems to be no space for the icons, I'm hoping the lines are thin enough that they won't be much of a bother anyway. What do you think?

The brushes are awesome, ple4ase send me a PM where you got them. I do think that the background could use something in there instead of it just being a flat blue piece with a render and brushes.

Thanks everyone.^_^ Took Serated's advice and broke up the background into something a little less static. Nothing fancy, just some clouds and motion blur.

Hmm... It should be able to fit into that. I saved it in a pretty high resolution so a bit of stretching won't hurt the image.^_^

Okay I know I haven't posted in quite sometime, but I had a few moments, so thought I'd drop in. =) Baka, I love the background with all the technological gridwork and stuff you have going on.

The one thing about your outerglow on KosMos is it makes the edges look a little jaggedy, like almost pixellated. Try taking the outerglow off and leave the drop shadow in to see how that looks. She looks great, just a little sharp.

Otherwise, great composition. Good job. =)

What was I thinking? That only took a couple of minutes to do, I should have just finished it before posting. Sorry about that.^^' Took out the outer glow. Extract still looked a bit choppy but I think the fault is in the extraction. I made it so the edges look a little soft instead to hide the choppiness.

You can blame the exctracter then. Its looks a lot better now without the plain background, and Thorn's advice also works well i think.

It's really not bad! I really like the simplicity of the entire wall. I can also see a lot of improvements through each remaster version that you posted up. I think there's really nothing else that you can do (to me...)

Also I would love it if you could send me the brushes that you used. =D

OMG! I love Xenosaga so it goes without saying that I love KOS-MOS.

I like the juxtaposition of the background with KOS-MOS. Cause the background is very technical and has a cold feeling but then KOS-MOS looks very at peace and soft. Then again, I could just be putting too much thought into it.

Thanks for the comments. This'll be my last version then. I don't think I can improve on it anyway.^_^ Though I didn't really put any thought as to the meaning of it (I just thought a tech theme would suit it) you can look at it whatever you want.=]
