Cowboy Bepop: the best order to watch it

Hello AF,

I have a fairly simple question about the anime...
I was wondering about the best order to watch cowboy Bepop...i mean whether I should watch the movie "knocking on heaven's door" first or the series?
I don't know the chronological order so I hope somebody can give me a hand with that ...

The film is really like an extened mid-season episode - so watch the first few DVDs, to get the basic plot and meet the characters, then see the film - it will fit in

I saw the whole series first and the movie much later. I treated it more as an addition, it is not connected with the main TV thread in any way.

it think it doesn't matter what order you watch it in 'cause...
the movie has nothing to do with the tv series....^^

I think i'm just gonna watch the series first then the movie...not sure yet...
I'm excited about this one coz I heard it was a very good anime...but I still have others to finish on my list first

Oh you got your answers but just wanted to say what reads on ANN 'takes place between eps 22 and 23'.... I actually watched the movie between those episodes but don't know does it really matter.... XD
