I've noticed that when I rep someone, it doesn't turn green or red no matter if I click "disapprove" or "approve". All of my reps turn out to be a grey color, and it's beginning to bug me.
Is there anything that can be done about this?

You need to be a senior member to have your reps count I think. Which means you'll need a 100+ posts.
It's same with avatars. You have to be a member for more than a month, and have x amount of posts, before you're able to rep other people.
Don't worry about reps. It's pretty useless anyway.
you must have a rep power otherwise you are giving them 0 reps thats is why it is grey
You need a lest 100+ points to make a real rep

You need 50 posts I think. In fact, I'm able to rep since I reached 50 posts

To the above posters who said you need rep power, Rebellion has plenty of it (Around 60 points worth). You simply don't have enough posts, but I believe the post count to hit is 50 as said above.
A few more posts and it will clear up fine.

Yeah, your rep power is 0. Your reps only show up as neutral.
