Recommended Animes

Well I'm new here and I was wondering if anyone of you guys out there could recommend some good animes for me?

Full Metal Alchemist (My favorite of all time)
Yu Yu Hakusho (My second favorite)
.hack (haven't gotten too far in it though)
Bleach
Rurouni Kenshin
Naruto and Shippuuden (started watching a when I was younger)
and even though it might not count Avatar: legend of Aang

Anything would be appreciated and thank you for anything

Inuyasha, Sailor Moon, X (the series), Hikaru No Go (Japanese Dubbed) , DragonBall Z/GT/AF, Zatch Bell,One Peice, Shaman King, and I guess ''Family Guy'' (knowing it's not an actual anime, but what the hey, lol.) those are what i like so far and recommend. Have A Nice Day.

Anyway I would suggest some of these;
Cowboy Bebop - a must see, brilliant from start to finish
Witch Hunter Robin - takes a while to get off the ground, but is a solid storyline and well animated
Wolf's Rain - again good animation and storyline - a slightly darker tale than the other two, though not a dark tale - also the ending will really get you

Ok, I have never followed Gundam, but do know that there is a whole army of different story lines, some connecting and some not - so I don't suppose you could specify where to start for a beginner

Start with Mobile Suit Gundam. It's arguably the best Gundam series there is, according to true Gundam fans. It has the best storyline that isn't messed up with nonsense like some of the recent Gundam stories have been. It's really old, so expect classic artwork, but the story is pretty good.

If you want my advice, never watch G Gundam. Some people might say it's cool, but I watched it and it seemed pretty stupid. I mean... the concept may have made some kind of sense. Like, sure. Why not decide the outcome of a war by having just a one-on-one ring battle between two giant robots? But that makes you think, if they're trying to save lives and resources, why not just a one-on-one boxing match? Or even better yet, why not just play chess? And the power of the main character was pretty stupid. I mean... Shining Finger? I'd rather he had a shining headbutt or something.

Okay enough ranting lol. If you can, try not to watch the Gundam Seeds until you've seen some of the earlier Gundam stories first. I've never watched it, but my Gundam-fan friends are annoyed by the way things went in Gundam Seed, and have advised me to stay away from it. But if you really want to watch it, and it's your choice really, take my advice and watch something else first like Mobile Suit Gundam or Gundam Wing at least. Something with real political stories.

Also, among non-Gundam series, try Samurai Champloo. It's one of my most recommended anime of all time.
