Digimon or Pokemon?

Now when you have the digimon vs. pokemon in anime, digimon wins, even in games, pokemon show sucks horably, but digimon is the uber greatest, pokemon shows and games are compleatly diferant, digimon games are like the show, sometimes, and the show is good. Digimon is better than pokemon, and in no way does monster rancher beet digemon, only the pokemon dash game and the game for the wii, mabey the game for the wii, but monster rancher is ok

I admit, when I was about 8-10 I was into the Pokemon GBA games >.>; Now I use them to test cheat codes on and stuff (Gameshark has like 40,000 codes for these games! x.x) But yeah, for like 3 years I was a Pokemon maniac (and one of the few girls in my school that even liked them when Pokemon was popular >.>) Never really watched Digimon o.o It seemed like it was just a knock-off of Pokemon. So yeah, Pokemon gets my vote.

Who cares whem the games came out, digimon is beter. Mabey pokemon was ahead on coming out with the games, but digimon made the game much beter than red, blue, or yellow. Digimon games are way better than pokemon, and have a story line in more games, which help them alot, in pokemon there has never been real story line in any of their "Good" games

I mean I am more of a Pokemon fan than Digimon but Digimon is also by far cool to.

I do how ever play more Pokemon than Digimon but i like season 3,4, and 5 of digimon.
The show Pokemon now is starting to get a little boring now but at least the games aren't.

Who cares what came out first, Digimon made better games in a lot of ways. They the games that kicked pokemon butt.

By far, Pokemon is more superior. Whether it be anime or video games. In terms of the show, I only recognize them up to a certain point. In the case of Digimon the only acceptable seasons are the ones with Tai and his sister. As for Pokemon, it's until the Jhoto League ends. I have a bad memory and don't remember exactly what seasons they are.

Now the Pokemon games are so much more addictive and fun to play. I have all of the Pokemon GB games and love playing each one.

Shows: pokemon was to repetitive for me and digimon seemed to have a better story line

Games: i couldn't get into a digimon game but the pokemon games where very addictive so

Pokemon is ok, but gets old fast. Digimon is beater because of the storyline in games, Also the show of Digimon easly beats pokemon, digimon is one of my favorites.

Ahaha. Wait..people still care about Digimon after the failure that was the 4th season of the TV show? Seriously?

Pokemon is the superior series, in TV, merchandising, video games, movies, cards, and business in general. Its obvious.

For a period of time...after Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire, I was disenfranchised with where the Pokemon series was going, but I got back into it with Diamond. I never liked Digimon games...at any point...ever.

TV wise...Digimon was goodness for its first 3 seasons. Tai, Davis, and Takato were cool cats. Digimon had my heart right there. Pokemon...got bleh after Misty, Brock, and Ashparted ways...or maybe when it became apparent that Misty was no longer going to get her due and I would have to put up with May's annoying tail. Yes, I used to have a crush on Misty. >.> But the show is still..somewhat tolerable. SOMEWHAT. Digimon on the other hand...ugh. Forget about it, after season 4.

Pokemon has more longevity and value everywhere else, including with the card game, toys, and all that jazz.

So..you get the idea.

Yep, after seasons 1-3, Digimon began to go dead.The games were kinda bleh...I only like the first one.

Pokemon on the other hand....just won't die.It's just gotten way too popular.Games, Trading cards, it's all over the place.

Speaking of Monster Rancher...the anime was just.....bleh.The games are alright though.

Its kind of bad when I can remember the faces and pokemon from season 1-3 pretty well, but can't remember a single one from season 4. Serious..I don't remember. And the theme song made me die on the inside. ._.; Hmm...I didn't hear about the 5th season tho.I wonder what station broadcasted it in America...if they did at all. o_o

I agree with Octorain, Sanzoku and N&J however there more to Digimon than Pokemon.
I'll list down the facts.

1- Indeed that digimon show is the first to be made yet it's the second to the world due to Pokemon.
2- the storylines have complexities and quite conflicted with life-threaten events.
3- the actions as well as the sceneries were displayed to be destructives and bright.
4- the evolutions are appears to be alot less limited than pokemon can ever have however the pokemons can stay evolved of course.
5- even though pokemon have 483 species but Digimon have over 800 forms and the stages are more further than pokemon.
6- Digimons have somewhat less types than pokemon but also have attributes.
7- most digimons have 6 stages but few have 7-8 stages rather than pokemon have 1-3 stages.
8- the detailed on forms in digimon are more complicated than pokemon.
9- Digimon have less techniques than pokemon but gain techniques for their symbolism.
10- In digmon there few numbers of first stage digimons but huge numbers of sixth stage digmons and pokemon have huge number of first stage more than 2nd and 3rd stages.
11-In digimon they have god digimons, and only one digmon have power to top all other digimons and I guess any you know who.
12- the powers between digimon and pokemon, the digimon's fourth and fifth stages equalize with second and third stages of pokemon and legendary pokemons but 6-7 is too much for them.
13- The digimon can talk english/japanese lol and they're quite smart despite some act stupid as well but need trainer's support for evolutions and encouragement sometime. Pokemon, commonly can't speak english but their name aaaannd they need guidance of thier trainers to fight.
14- Digimons are immortal, they can never die except they turn back to eggs and be reborm when ever they're destroyed but in return, they forget the memories of they were once were but there are rare chances they reborn with the memories. Pokemons can die just like animals and humans but their life span last longer than animals and humans (Idk how long though) but ancient pokemons and legendary are considered immortal no doubt.


.....That about it, I play digimon games longer than pokemon because pokemon games I was to complete them 2-3 days and digimon games last me a week or 2 and play it again for a month and more. I've watched all the season and draws so many digimons in my book and I also RPG alot of digimon and creat fanfictions for digimon more than i did with pokemon but I still like pokemon almost as much as digmon.
