What would you do if you knew a person...And that person is suffering from a deadly disease and after a long period of fighting that disease has decided to stop the treatment...
simple. cry and then accept it and try to be there for that person.
I'll tell you exactly what a person should do. First of all there's nothing you can do, second is to accept it and thirdof all just pretend that there's nothing wrong.

I'm sure a few people have experienced this. I had a situation somewhat similar a while back. My aunt was diagnosed with cancer but she didn't want to do kemo so went for alternative treatments even though i'm sure she knew there was little if no chance of them working...it happens you just have to accept you can't always change someone's mind and don't take life for granted I guess. I try not to make a world mystery out of everything but...it's good to get deep i'm just a bit too lazy to do so on forums I guess ~de arimasu

It's happened to me. I cried for a few days then accepted the fact that he was gone.
Pray for him/her probably. It's the patient's decision so I think it'd be unfair for me to force him/her otherwise.
Pray, allot better than giving up hope.
Fight cruelty with kindness and hatred with love. If you can do that, you are undefeatable.
I want to take off your blindfolds you have grown so accustomed to to show you the people who love you and the good world you seek have been with you the whole time.

Yep.. Pray for that person. Respect his/her decision.
But I think.. I would still ask what is the reason.
Pray for that person and if I'm close to him/her, I'd try to stay by his/her side. That's the least I can do. Even though I disagree with the decision, I'd still respect him/her.
I have also had a few situations like this and I still am in fact. Yeah, I'd pray and hope all I can. I mean that and accept their decision is all you can do really. I'd also spend as much time w/ them as possible. And be sure to tell them you love them, that is certinely a number one thing to do.

I'd tell them to get back on treatment. Then if its futile, I'd let them do what they want, then mourn over the loss.
Derp.
Respect their decision. It's just selfish to force someone to cling to life that clearly doesn't want to live any more.

Hey look, Japan made a movie about me!
I've been through this kind of thing quite a few times.A lot of my family has died from lung cancer.Anyway,I still would want that person to keep fighting the illness as long as they can.I believe there is always hope, even in the most unlikely situations.
I would do anything to help that person cope with his/her disease and try to be there for him/her.
If they were slowly dying I would put them out of their misery. End the suffering.
One word PRAY.
What did I do so bad that my account is locked?
Well...
My grandfather (now) has skin cancer, bladder cancer, and (maybe) a resurgence of his colon cancer, and he's said that he's thinking about stopping treatment, but...I haven't really reacted yet. I don't know how I'll take it if he does stop his chemotherapy; I can't really imagine.
good boy X)want that person to keep fighting the illness as long as they can.I believe there is always hope, even in the most unlikely situations.
life is not cheap .. stopping the treatment for no reason .. i call it suicide
if we force that person to take the treatment ( which without it he will die ) then we will save a human soul ..
there is always hope !
Even if I didn't want that person to stop his/her treatement, I'd try to respect their decision as best I could and accept it; however, I would tell them to keep on fighting and hold onto their life, even if there was little chance of them surviving.
My thanks to Xey Oiz for the awesome new set.
"Screw being normal and be awesome instead!"
the world need her ..
if she live she can do many things for humanity ..
in my opinion and as i see it .. she should continue the treatment not killing herslf
but if she choose the treatment .. and the treatment failed ..
at that time .. you can pray for her .. she did what she can ..
accept their decision and let them go in peace.
i guess i already know because ive experienced this before
This never happened to me, but I would probably try to do everything I can to make the person see there mistake. No matter what, I would keep on trying to change there mind. A person can't see their mistake until after there mistake is made.
Sig no longer in development...
