BlackDeath: MANY will agree that SOTN was simply teh greatest one. I agree to a certain extent. I simply forgot about the PC version. Tis a simple mistake when you haven't PLAYED the PC version. Army is just the best one out of the four choices. Your job is basically Infantry if you're in the Marines. I don't know much about the Air Force. The Navy you on the SAME SHIP with the SAME people for between six months to a YEAR. Maybe more. The only really good Army games I've played that for Civilian use is stuff like Half Life which is a good game, but too short ot be perfect and the Medal of Honor games. Don't forge replay value is the reason most people by games.

Lets see.. I'd say Legend of Dragoon. Great storyline, Pretty cool characters, the movies are very nice..one of the best things of the game.

And then theres Zelda: Ocarina of time. I've played it over 10 times and its still fun to play.

suikoden V : good storyline, cool characters, amazing movies/events, and the music!! the musics can effectively bring us to feel the characters' emotion...

Answer: Because it's a good video game, and it has it's second playable online play into it's franchise of Midway Entertainment for Mortal Kombat.Plus, the fatalities are just awesome on how Scorpion just take's his deadly spear [Which is a kunia strapped to a rope], and impales the guy into his arm, and his head. Even this, it has every stance that they use in real life as the martail arts used so it's pretty authentic.

Answer: Halo started the Xbox game's and made the Xbox a success, after Halo 2 came out it was a big hit into the game genre's in the First Person Shooter's [FPS'S], and now the BIG entertainment storm in history of all mankind, as Peter Moore said it. Halo 3 scored the game of the year, and made Xbox 360 a even bigger success in the entertainment franchises.

Answer: The graphics are stunning, and the AI'S [Artiffecial Intelligence] is like a another person playing. Too bad it was not in online play, or it would score even bigger.

This topic is fail. Unless the game is total cruft, you can always find someone that is willing to review it 10/10.

Proven correct. GameRankings.com gave it 76% based on the average of 48 featured media sources. Unless you mean 4/5. You aren't exactly clear.

This makes little sense. The question you asked yourself was, "Why is Halo the best game? It's just so overrated." Then you precede to say, essentially, "Because people like it." People liking something does not mean it isn't overrated.

Edit: Also, unless you are from the future, GH3 and Army of Two do not belong on your favorite "perfect" games list.
They could very well suck eggs, and you haven't played them anyway.

Yeah seriously if someone wants a perfect game they either bribe the reviewers or have like the best of best game designers and directers from like every gaming company....which proabably would never happen.....but then we did see games like Namco vs Capcom and those other ones......but in the American Game industry....probably not. ^^;;;

To me, a perfect game is one that you can pick up and play again and again, no matter how many times you have beaten it. That being said, my perfect game is Metal Gear Solid.

I agree. Metal Gear Solid is a very good game. in my views, I also think it's a perfect game.....well except for MGS3 because it wasn't all that compare to the first 2....and probably the 4th one. ^^

Final Fantasy VII is the greatest game ever and almost perfect in my opinion. In fact, the best games I've played have been the FF series. But I think the second greatest game would be Chrono Cross. I love RPG's.
